Re: Julian in The Hour
I thought JRT played the role pitch-perfect. He managed to be sexist and put down the woman whilst remaining outwardly polite. So beautifully sleazy! Hope there is more of him in future episodes.
I've admired the intensity of Ben Wishaw in the past, but it does feel a bit like too much of a good thing.
Romola Garai hasn't done anything yet to suggest why she has been made the producer of the new show. Let's hope she gets some backbone. And Dominic West hasn't exactly been stretched as an actor by episode one.

Re: Julian in The Hour
In the second episode of Julian on the screen for a few seconds more! Maybe so conceived and in the third will be even greater. Gradually increase can reach up to half of the episode? (I hope)

Re: Julian in The Hour
Well that was a good start wasn't it?
A tiny mention of Julian in this blog http://unpopcult.wordpress.com/tag/julian-rhind-tutt/ as part of an 'underused bench' Let's hope that Angus continues to get a bit more screen time than the last series...

Re: Julian in The Hour
The Hour nominated for Best Mini Series or TV Movie! For me, it was the best thing on tv in 2012. Fantastic storylines, cast, writing, direction etc...good luck to all concerned...specially JRT!
Last episode had me in tears.
