Bridgathon 2010

Postby chatterbox » Thu May 13, 2010 11:04 pm

Here is the registration form for this year's walk! I seem to vaguely recognise a few of those faces ;)

I plan to do this again, so if anyone fancies coming along, let me know and I will register us as a group and get a new justgiving page under way....

My god! I recognise the white elephant next to Julian!! ..... all in a good cause though.
Unfortunatley, I'll be away in Sept so can't take part again this year. :(

That's a shame, it was such a lovely day with lots of time to chat while we were ambling about.

Already got a bit of a team forming though, so it's looking like I won't have to do it all by myself 8)

Thanks to everyone who has already expressed interest.
:foru:

It will be great if any of you can make it along for the day. I will send off the initial registration for our group at the end of this week, but I will be able to add to it, so it won't be too late!

Yes, ducatilady the form is for everyone - there are a lot of other pictures of the day on the other side of the form though!!

Well I have registered the first few names for our Bridgathon team. Thanks to those of you who have already put their names forward.

There will be room for plenty more, so if you fancy a day out wandering around London in good company and for a good cause, do join us!

If you can't join the team, please visit our new justgiving page here:
http://www.justgiving.com/jrtfans and, if you can, donate some money!!

Well I sort of forgot that this is looming, so I thought I'd better get my act together!

If you would like to join me on the walk, please send me a pm to confirm.... and if you can't join us, you can still contribute by sponsoring us here: http://www.justgiving.com/jrtfans

This is a brilliant cause, so even a few pennies will help! :D

We have three people walking in the Bridgathon this year, and it would be brilliant if you could show your support by donating a pound or two to the cause. All funds raised will go towards the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Unit at UCLH.

Online donations can be made through www.justgiving.com/jrtfans

Or, if you prefer, contact me through pm and I will let you know about other donation methods.

Last year we raised over £700, and it would be great if we could top that this year!

Thank you to everyone who has already donated, we will do our best to make you proud! :foru:

Well all three of us managed to complete the walk, hopefully without too many aching limbs!

Thank you again to everyone who sponsored us. I will update you with the total raised when we have collected all the donations, but you can still add a bit to the pot by going to http://www.justgiving.com/jrtfans

Thanks to Sylvia and Rose for making it such a lovely afternoon :foru:

Unfortunately our man couldn't make it after all, but he did send apologies... Hopefully he will be back next year!

Final update for the Bridgathon... In total we raised £507, which wasn't bad considering there were just three of us.

Thanks to everyone who supported us.
