Julian's Birthday Project - discussion
Ok ... really sorry folks. I deleted your chat about the project when I meant to move it...
So, here we are again....
Over to you and I promise not to touch it again

Haha...we really shouldn't let you be in charge should we?
Anyway, here's the link to the thread on the Edgar Wright forum again to give you some ideas:

If you take a look in the 'Announcements' section of the forum, you will find 'Julian's Birthday Project', and in there are the instructions of what to do to take part. Basically, prepare a message or picture that you would like to be included in a birthday 'card' to be printed out and sent to Julian for his birthday. Here is a link to the Julian's Birthday project thread....http://www.julianrhind-tutt.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=538
Good luck

Loved your South Park Mac FQ ! Are you gonna use it or was it just to prompt some ideas?!
Anyway, I have an idea of my own; a home-made CD for Julian - 2 songs from each decade of his 40 years.
Songs I have thought of including are:
1, You really got me going - The Kinks
2, Increasing Heartbeats (you know the one in GW - like I have to explain that one?! - anyway not sure who its by so thats why I wrote the former)
3, Happy Birthday - Altered Images (it was listening to this that actually gave me the idea in the first place! Chose the song simply for the message!)
4, A couple of Bowie songs - Life on Mars, Heroes or whatever
5, Bob Dylan
and as for songs from the "noughtees"; not sure about any - can anyone help?...
...And more importantly - what do people think, or is it utterly ridiculous?!!

It is a good idea, but it'd probably make more sense for you to send it to him directly...seeing as our thing is just this card/book of messages. We can't really have everyone sending in other bits and bobs to be included too, or the package would be massive!
And yes I am planning on using South Park Mac, unless I can think of something better!

It looks great FQ Thanks for all the effort you've put into it.
I'm sure The Birthday Boy will be very appreciative.
