Not quite sure how Douglas Hodge was there on a Saturday night as he's on stage himself next door at the Olivier - unless he was in the bar afterwards of course Doug's play does run without an interval though so he was probably propping the bar up as usual before LWW ended.

He wasn't working that night Minimarsbar, as I know because I would have gone to see him if possible - I went to see Philistines instead. We saw him coming out from the stage door at 5ish though - perhaps he just can't keep away?

Thanks, ducatilady. He is very funny in it - I think his comic timing and his use of his facial expressions are just brilliant. Nice to see we're not all biased.

Sorry Chatterbox, I hadn't realised the play had a night off that Saturday. We went to see it on a Saturday afternoon and it finishes around 1/4 past 4 (no break of course). I'd taken the photo of myself with Julian just in case I saw him while waiting at the stage door - we'd pre-arranged to see Doug afterwards, but it was too early and LWW hadn't finished. Besides, it was the cup final and loads of the cast and crews had rushed off stage to watch the last part of it.
