i feel really bad now, i still haven't got round to sending mine. I keep thinking I'll sit down and re-write it, and then i just forget, and so far haven't done it yet. i'm going to though, in the next few days.
BaggieBird, i really hope you get a reply soon!! I'm sure he will, he doesn't seem the type to let his fans down

mini mac is my 3 yr old nephew not his real name just he has JRT's hair colour and looks like mini mac, which is quite a suprise cos his dad is an 17 stone robbie williams lookalike.
would happily be on permanent baby sitting duty in fact I keep offering to keep him would save applying to adopt. Lets hope I get an answer esp as the case is before I go to landscapes in may but he's a busy man so i'll forgive him if it's late.

Well I have now actually written his "lordship" a letter, made him a birthday card (and sent it obviously) and have also just written to him again asking a request on a very worthy cause...I shall say no more yet just in case he doesn't respond!.....Hope he does!! I actually got a friend to write on the envelope - just in case, he recognised my writing and thought I was harrassing him or something (I typed the letter on headed paper and all to make it look professional and genuine!)....
....Time will tell!

Anyway, as Julian told me he'd sent it at the signing it wasn't a very big surprise but I'm still super happy about it:
He also included a signed photo for Vashti so I'm going to send it to her anyway even though her birthday was in August!
I am seeing Julian is a very kind and gentle person to his fans! i would like to write him someday but i am afraid that because of the distance is harder for me tyo get an answear, ( i always think my letters and packages will be lost! ) if i where in england i would go to see a play with him and wait to give him a huge hug after it!

I think you should write to him Paula. He is very appreciative of our support & although it may take a while for you to receive a reply, I'm sure Julian would be delighted to hear from you.
Also, if you send a stamped addressed envelope inside your letter [so it can be posted back to you] he may well send a signed photo too! I think it's worth the cost of a stamp to find out don't you? Good Luck!

" A few very charming ladies down at my Dad's whist drive have been very kind (average age 75-93). My brother is the headmaster of a special school and I know some of his dinner ladies have been very kind to me as well. "
