mug-a-celebrity sale

Postby bookgirl » Tue Sep 04, 2007 7:28 pm

Greetings from lovely Edinburgh. Haven't seen this posted yet. I was almost tempted to not mention this (I don't need the extra competition!), but I got an email from the Mug-A-Celebrity people and they are putting Julian's mug (among others) up for auction, starting on November 1.

Here's their website again - http://www.revolvingdoorstheatre.co.uk/ ... brity.html

I started a new thread for this under "General chat" so apologies for not looking properly first (Can any of the Mods delete the other thread?) but I have also added it here:
For those who get the "Revolving Doors Theatre" newsletter, you might have read that the Mug-a-celebrity mugs have now gone on sale on E-bay - starting at £15 - 100..
On more exciting note! Most of the mugs from our Mug-A-Celebrity are now on sale on ebay in a big clear out ready for some more celebrity muggings in the new year! Please click here to skip to how to bid. We are very excited at the office. There are over forty mugs on sale and it took us three days to list them having to put them on sale after rehearsals in the evenings. If you have any questions about any of the mugs please email buymug@mugacelebrity.com ...

I have tried to find them on e-bay and have had no luck so far so if anyone else can find them , can you post the link on this thread?!

Well I am not sure whether I shall use it at all - less likely to break it then as I am really clumsy and I'd hate to break such a trophy! I might just put it on display instead?!!!!..and admire Julian's artwork everytime i go passed it....ahhhh, lovely :D

Ooh well done! You'll have to take some close-up photos of it for us when you get it. ;)

Hurray! :dh: Well done MW - glad someone from the forum got it. Think you should use it at least once then put it on display in pride of place. Maybe hot chocolate with M&S marshmallows in honour of the artist

Ooh - thats a thought - hot chocolate and marshmallows...Mmmmmm, mmm! *licks lips* so perhaps I will use it just the once and then put on display as I don't want it to get stained or anything *shivers at the very thought* but I know that would take a few more uses than just the once!

...I think I might defo take a photo and put it up as my avatar - perhaps doing the same pose as Jules?!! Or just me "purring" at it?!
