Went to see Lee Mack in Basingstoke last night. Had a great night but it was only his 4th gig after being out of standup for a while and it was a bit patchy in places. Very funny at times, but he shouts a bit much which makes him difficult to understand - particularly if he's yelling the punchline

Enjoyed it though, and if anyone is thinking of going to a date later in his tour I'm sure he'll have it polished up a bit by then. Watch out for the french perfume ad routine - had me reaching for the plastic pants! :D

Ooh, well, Lar-dee-dar! Haha.

My Bill Bailey ticket arrived on Tuesday. It's like fortieth row!!! I was gutted.

So i did something very pikey and I emailed Mick Perrin his producer and he's let me have another seat instead because he's so amazingly mint and it pays to have friends in high place s;)

Ooh! Russell Howard's coming here in February!! My friend Kate and I are going; that should be *mint*!

I met Jimmy Carr on saturday. That was mad. His new shows way better than the other one on DVD. I also met the Proclaimers on Sunday. Not comedians but thought i'd mention it anyway... ;)

Haha well I only put it like that because when I say 'home' now sometimes I mean London and sometimes I mean Manchester...it's quite confusing!

Oh nice one Roz! I like that show.
Although Buzzcocks would own.
Ultimately though i think the most squee-worthy ticket would be one to go watch Mock the Week. Because that just rocks the world. ehe. Have fun!!

I've been to see mock the week but this was back in series 1 so I didn't really know much about it then, I think it would be a lot better now because well I'm rather addicted. 8 out of 10 cats is so funny live because it takes about an hour and a half to do the first round because there are so many jokes cut out

Oooh I was going to get Bill Bailey tickets but it crept up on me too soon!

I went to see Russell Howard on 14th November though. He was amazing!
Me and my friend were in hysterics.
I think he's brilliant on Mock the Week and we really enoyed the stand up too. Going again in March.

His tour dates have been extended so check out his website if anyone's interested!

Sounds good (if painful), Chats. Glad to hear your computer's back in action, by the way. :)

:hello: and welcome to miMac, too.
