oh gosh i loved julian in it he was wonderful and mark was great too. I really liked this film it was predictable but then it is a children's film so it's not like I expected a massive twist, I really enjoyed the film as a whole but it had some cheesy moments

and ohh there is a companion isn't it a bit early for that?

I saw Stardust last night with my husband and really enjoyed it. Thought it was very funny and JRT had some great lines. My husband didn't know he was in it, so just kept staring at the screen when JRT appeared!

RG just annoys me, why can't he act rather than be himself? At least the witch sorted him out. Loved Robert De Niro and generally all of it.

Would recommend everyone go see it for a happy film to cheer you up.

I saw it a couple of days ago, and we all really enjoyed it, far more than we expected. Although Julian wasn't on screen for anywhere near long enough, he did make the most of it I thought, getting a good laugh or two.

Loved Julian and Mark in it. When Mark first came on screen, my mum grabbed my arm and said "It's Alan!" and she did the same when Julian came on and when she finally realised that Sarah Alexander was one of the witches, she gasped and said "It's thingy"

And eugh to Ricky Gervais, especially when he said "are you having a laugh?" I didn't like the fact that his name, in big, was like 3rd in the credits when he was hardly in it.

Yeah I loved Julian and Mark too...Julian's boots were rather nice!
And I thought Charlie Cox was actually pretty good as Tristan. Agree about the lameness of Ricky Gervais though.

Obviously I thought Julian was wonderful (I mean, like, duh - he always is ) but how funny was Robert De Niro!

Hi Baggie and Chi, good to see you back. Baggie, you really should get yourself along to see this - we've just got back and really enjoyed it.

Thought I'd be waiting impatiently for the ghosts to pop up, but the whole thing turned out to be very entertaining (although agree about RG - he obviously thought he was the best thing in it). Music was good too - menacing, but also funny when Mr de Niro was contacting his feminine side.

Finally had chance to go and see Stardust today! and it Rocked! as i knew it would. I thought the ghosts were really funny and Julian was fab - his comic timing is spot on even though he only had a few lines! I agree with you all on robert de niro bloody brilliant! I also thought the guy who played tristan was perfectly cast too. i thought ricky gervais was ok actually - i haven't actually seen him in that much anyway - so i had an open mind! i thought claire danes was a bit over the top though....anyway....fantastic film!

get back from disney and discovered that the theatre I work at is finally screening this in Jan. If it doesn't sell out I get in for free. Most of the staff think I'll be able to time it to just keep sticking my head round the door whenever Julian is on screen!!!

we're showing it 10 times sadly 3 on sat 5th jan when I'll be watching Julian elsewhere

Finally saw Stardust on the flight home from Toronto.
Quite enjoyed it and especially seeing JRT!
Now I need to find out if we'll be getting A Christmas Carol on BBC Canada!

A bit late I know but I do live in Hereford I'm finally going to see this tonight and after all Julians wonderful performances over xmas my mum 2 sisters and a couple of mates are coming to see it as well.

Well finally saw it and loved it although it doesn't exactly follow the book. Pointed out to the friends and family which one he was to which my mum replied ' I had realised it was him' she's becoming an expert Julian spotter .

Only one embarressing moment when they did the announcement for us to go and take our seats. For a laugh the front of house staff added

"that means you Emma go and drool over the bloke from green wing you stalk the one from the Barclay cards ads, by the way Emma is sat in Row H seat 8 and apparently Julian Rhind-Tutt now recognises her and her friends"


I still haven't forgiven them.
