Welcome to the home of many 30 something's obsession. We're all normal it's the rest of the world that isn't
I too joined for the same reasons the of friends and family when you start talking about the fraise blonde one. In fact my mum bought me Hot Fuzz the other day and thought she'd got it wrong as she couldn't see him mentioned on the cover

Hello! Thought I'd introduce myself - been lurking around a long long time, right back to the early days of the Channel 4 Comedy forum, but have finally come out into the open.
Yet another 30-something, I'm afraid, this time based up in the north east, in Gateshead. I was smitten by the great one in Black Books, and then graduated to Green Wing...and have never really recovered!
Am so jealous of all you folks who have been to see LWW - thank you for all your fabulous reviews, I've really enjoyed reading it all! I can but hope the next theatre he does is a bit further north...

I realised JRT obsession had hit high levels the other day when I managed to sort out the Green Wing theme tune as my ringtone...
......and well done for winning an Auction Prize - beginner's luck - ay? - nice one!

Haha I've done that! And I've got Mac's "waxing an owl" quote as my text message alert too!
Hello btw...sounds like you're going to fit in here just great!
Ditto with the ringtone! I just enjoy watching people looking around for the engine when the tune starts!
Sadly my phone won't let me set quotes as message alerts, but don't think I haven't considered buying a new handset just to be able to do it.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone and of course you are right about the age gap thing - hadn't quite considered it that way before, but I suppose it could be useful being closer to the fraise-blondness in age. See - I knew there was a good reason for joining the forum!

Hi My name is Roz (or Ros) short for Rosalind anyway a little bit about me hmm, I'm 18 and live on the edge of london and kent. Oh I know Jade (f d p) from secondary school back in year 7 which seems forever ago, anyway, I have been a fan of green wing since half way through series 2 when someone told me that I HAD to watch the show, so I did and i found the pen stabbing scene the funniest thing ever. Since then I have become well and truely obessed with everything Green wing and the actors in it. Personally I am a Massive Tamsin fan and have been ever since I became hooked on black books long before I even knew about Green wing. Anyway, Since loving Green Wing I have fallen in love with Julian and his charm and good looks. (but I must admit despite this I remain 100% a guy and Caroline shipper - hence the screen name).
I have been to the last 4 signings only missing the first one because i didn't even know about the show at the time and I think I must have met some of you before at such events.
anyway I'm looking forward to being here - it's about time that I joined this place and I hope to see you again soon hopefully at another julian event!
