Julian's work until Xmas 2007

Postby chatterbox » Thu Oct 18, 2007 12:47 pm

Thought it might be useful to list the upcoming work that we know about or is rumoured. Once we have firm details we can start off threads in the relevant sections elsewhere in the forum.

I'll start you off.............

Julian is expected to be filming a documentary about music in Africa over the next couple of months, and we should also be looking out for a ghost story at Christmas, and a new book at bedtime. :D

that makes it sound like he's going to come round personally and read us each a bedtime story.

Love the idea of the ghost story at christmas

So is he actually presenting this music documentary rather than narrating it? Brilliant if he is! :D

Well he did say he was going out to Ethiopia in December to do it, surely that must mean he is presenting it?

Cool - thanks for that Kim!
I does quite random stuff doesn't he? But bloody good for him - at least he does all sorts of things other than just one type - like films for example!
Bet the trip to Ethopia will open his eyes!..should be an interesting documentary?!Look forward to that and all the other stuff plus the audiobook as his voice is so lovely to listen after a hard day at work or just before bed (that way I have more chance of dreaming of him  ...god did I just share that?! )...
Talking of Audiobooks, my mum's present has arrived - it's the story of Bear Grylls climbing Mt Everest read by ours truly but can't listen to it till my mum gets back, opens it and has the first listen which I will be there for - you can be sure of that but, I just wanna listen to it now!!Willhave to restrain myself I think - put it out of sight so I amnot tempted!

Hehehe... sounds great! I'll look forward to that. Although I must say, that idea of reading bedtime stories certainly is interesting... although i can't say i'd see it as something likely to make me sleep...
I know! It's a wand. It's a magical, magical wand.

I do like the fact he picks all sorts of stuff to do...it means I end up watching/listening to all kinds of interesting things that I never would have otherwise!

Quite agree - I think he should be proud of how he's improving our cultural lives!

Only seen him dance in reckless when he was meant to be drunk in a nightclub.

Do we know if he can dance

Love the fact that you're asking if anyone knows if he can dance. Probably only real way to know would be if you'd seen him at a wedding or club. He looks a bit too gangly to be a good dancer and if he was, I think he would have been keen to show it off in role somehow. Thinking more about it.... he is too sexy not to be a good dancer... decisions, decisions.....

Absolutely love his bum wiggle at the beginning of "Increasing heartbeat"/TOTP video - it certainly increased my heartbeat thats for sure! :lvdr:
..so if he does a little wiggle with every dance he does; he certainly won't have me complaining! I think its kinda sweet too - aww bless him!

Didn't Julian say something on the C4 radio World Music program about learning to dance in South America, I think it was the Tango. Mmmm. Can't see him wanting to take part in Strictly Come Dancing though!

Ladies, please, a little decorum here!

This dancing business is getting out of hand! Get a grip. Get back to the knitting and tea drinking. I myself have never left them.

And no, we're NOT knitting him ANYTHING. He can go to M&S like the rest of us.

As you were.

The Reckless nightclub dancing is quite cringeworthy, BUT, he's only dancing like everyone did back then
You can't say he doesn't throw himself into his roles!
