I know I spend far too much time on the Internet! :D
It would be so much easier if Julian told us exactly what work he was doing and when, but not half as much fun as trying to track it down! I just don't want to miss him in anything.

DL - yes, that went through my mind when I saw 'cast also features' but a little bit is better than none at all.

Sadly the radio 4 synopsis does not list Julian - but they did mention it and him on the radio today so must be an oversight.here

The radio synopsis is just for this week, so I suspect that Julian's character is not in this episode... I will be listening anyway though

Did listen to this on saturday and did not hear Julian's lovely voice at all! thought I might have missed his voice (although how could I for it is instantly recognisable!) so I listened to the end credits and alas, it was true - he wasn't in Ep 1 so I did feel I was listening to a lot of bibble, babble about bloody politics! (not in my interest at all!!) but did recognise the lovely Nigel Havers voice!..
...I hope he's on the next one?!
Sorry to have ruined it for everyone but, unless you are into your politics, its not really worth listening to as I thought it was rather long-winded, but hey, thats just my opinion so each to their own and all that!

Just listened to this week's episode and Julian was certainly in it and sounding good with a lovely posh accent! :swoon: He wasn't in it very long though so really hope he's on for longer next time...
..Perhaps he will be as he has been a bad boy or has he? I shall say no more and will have to wait until next week....

Yes he does seem to be rather naughty in this, in more ways than one! He's very good at that sort of role.

Here's hoping he's in it some more next week.

Listened to this yesterday; shame Julian wasn't in it for longer. Here's hoping for next week.

Mind you I saw Tom Conti on stage when I was 15 (too many years ago to mention!) and fell in love with him, especially his voice, so hearing both of them in the same scene was like heaven!

I was just reading this radio review of Fame & Fortune &, if I am not mistaken, Julian plays Francesca's husband? It appears that Francesca & her husband are murdered at the end of part 2, in which case we won't be hearing from him again in this play. I must listen properly & make sure.

.....so yet another of his characters ends up on the 'cutting' room floor?!!

...I must admit I was a bit confused too MW. I thought they said that Francesca had been murdered along with another man [but didn't name him..so possibly not her husband?]

Confused..you will be!? :?

OK, just listened to that bit and it says Francesca & her fancy man have been killed & they are looking for her husband...just shows you can't believe everything you read in the papers! so Dominic is still alive & hopefully we will hear from him again next week.

...thought I was right!
I think Gillian Reynolds, who wrote the Telegraph review, got her wires a bit crossed! [get it ...crossed wires....Telegraph?!!! ]

Do hope we get to hear lots more of the lovely Julian in this then .
