Got home around 9.20 and casually mentioned to my husband that we could watch Miss Marple as it was recording. He happily agreed. When Julian appeared on screen doing his fox slideshow, I held my breath. Silence from husband, phew..... then "Isn't that your boyfriend?" Thought I'd got away with it. "Yes, I think so. Doesn't he look different?" and then no more, so I could enjoy the whole programme. Wasn't sure he looked his best at first but then his voice and character made him as irresistable as ever.

I think I got away with it.

:ex: I totally agree Joan Hickson is Miss Marple for me too.

Who was Julian's 'foxy lady' in the slide show? That's what I'd like to know!

Hehe... Sunday Night at Morgan Manor (that's my house in an agatha christie setting... haha i did that without realising) was really weird. At first, mam was like "Oh I'm not going to watch miss marple! i want to do womething else!" but i stamped my foot and put the TV on when she went to the bathroom. By about 15 minutes through both her and my godfather were like "Oooh it was her! Oooh it was him!!!! No it was her!!!!" hahaha. I eeped when i saw Julian and then was like "aaaaa!" when he said he wanted to go, but then when they found him in the shed thingy i was like, "Hooray!!!" and my mam told me off for being too loud. Hehehe. Aw, good night. But when it didn't finish til 11 i had to take ProPlus to get my history essay done XD

Couldn't get on here yesterday to add to the chorus of approval for this.

I'm not sure why Julian hated his hair so much - I quite liked it.

My husband (rather grumpily) said "he's even good-looking when he's not supposed to be, isn't he". Oh yes!

Nice to see him playing a different character - show people he's not just a pretty face!

I very much enjoyed Miss Marple on sunday night and WOW!...what a brilliant performance by Julian! I must admit that when I saw that his name was near the end of the credits (at the beginning - if you catch my meaning?) i thought, "Oh no, he's only got a small part!" but was absolutely delighted that he featured the whole way through... Yay!!! :D
Loved the line - "Now park yourself down" when he was talking to the PI and also the slide show...classic!!

He has, yet again, done us proud!! and he actually looks rather good with dark hair...Mmmm mmmm!

Oh boy - they kept us waiting for months but it was worth it in the end.

He certainly stood his ground against all those fabulous women competing for a slice of screen time - and that is saying something with Alison Steadman and Juliet Stevenson on equal billing.

Just adding to the general opinion, it was very enjoyable, I'm not a 'Marple' fan & I found Steve's ep quite hard to follow, but this one was much better. I think the credits were in alphabetical order, not to risk upsetting too many egos I imangine!

Hahaha... I was watching GW yesterday and noticed hilariously a remark that Guy made in the TV show episode...

GUY: "I was the victim, so that rules me out."
MARTIN: "Ah, yes. But does it? In Miss Marple its always the one we least suspect."
GUY: "Yes but Miss Marple looks like a scrotum in a dress!!!"

When i heard that i fell about laughing. It was when Guy was trying to get artin to admit that he'd been the Priest that he'd given the tape of him and Joanna to. Just thought I'd bring it up.

yeah it is. he mentions miss marple in an earlier episode as well, i cant remeber where but it does seem ironic now as both of them, plus pippa haywood and mark heap, have been in it in 2 episodes!

I enjoyed Marple greatly. I thought both episodes were good, but obviously Julians was the best.

If it's a copy that can only be played on a computer then it's mine?
