Marple TV Series

I casually started watching Miss Marple and commented to my husband how much I was enjoying it so that when I watch it next week, he won't think I'm just watching it to see JRT and I can just look surprised when he appears!!!
I did actually enjoy it and it was lovely to see Stephen get the girl. Was a little odd seeing Statham and Guy talking to each other in a strange setting. I'm looking forward to not guessing who did it next week.

Didn't end up seeing Miss Marple last night cos my housemate and his mate wanted to watch "Hellboy" instead ...god I am such a push-over - i really should put my foot down more!!!!
As for next week, He's away so I have the place, and TV to myself and nothing, absolutely nothing is standing in the way..unless of course, Julian decides to come to life in my sitting room?! (more likely gonna have monkeys fly out of my arse aren't I? but a girl can dream can't she? )
Can't wait!

Ali, I have to be very casual about anything with JRT in since I have his signed picture on my fridge and my husband thinks I am very sad. Not sure what his reaction will be as we'll probably be out on Sunday and I'll have to freeview it. I think I've done enough prep work on the first one, saying how much I enjoyed it to warrant a recording of the series. I will really have to keep a straight face when it comes on!

just watched miss marple! it was brilliant - i've been looking forward to it for aaages! how sad am i? Julian's character was really sweet and quite funny - there was a bit in it where a woman at the garage asked him about women and he said something like '...o yes there was this one girl at church but...we never actually...spoke.." awww

A much better episode than last week. He was very sweet & didn't he look fabulous in those glasses too - very studious & learned [as he was supposed to be!].
He acted dear old Geraldine off the screen though didn't he? I don't care what anyone says, Joan Hickson will always be Miss Marple to me!

" A few very charming ladies down at my Dad's whist drive have been very kind (average age 75-93). My brother is the headmaster of a special school and I know some of his dinner ladies have been very kind to me as well. "
