Complete DVD Boxset Signing!

Postby faeriequeen » Fri Sep 21, 2007 4:44 pm

Oriane Messina (one of the writers) has posted this event info on Facebook:

Monday, October 15, 2007
Time: 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Location: Virgin Megastore, Piccadilly Circus, London

Steve, Mark, Oli and Karl will be there. Julian and Tamsin TBC.

This isn't up on the Virgin Megastores website yet but I think we can take it pretty much as confirmed seeing as one of the writers knows about it!

Nooooo!

It's my first day at Uni (part-time course) so don't think I can really miss that. I had promised myself that the next event like this I would go to - now in a bad mood!

Well I'm planning to get into London in the early afternoon for a late lunch before heading over to Virgin. In case anyone else fancies meeting up beforehand I'm starting a thread in the meetups section. :D

Was sent a text about this while at a beachside bar and got very excited in front of my family. My mum guessed it was something JRT related the second I announced I was off to London.

Book the day off work the second I turned up this morning.

Bahahahah!!!
Done.

Well, half. I've booked train tickets. I don't mean to be awkward, but is there anyone i can stay with or at least share a hotel room with for this trip? It's just this is gonna cost me like a hundred quid. My train tickets were fifty and god knows how much this DVD is going to cost. =/

I know the RRP is like £60 - it'll cost the whole lot, wont it. D'you reckon we'd have to buy it there or would they be allwoed to sign other things instead? =/

Plus i dunno where i can book at such short notice.

Well the signing is now listed on the Virgin Megastore events pages, but it just says 'the cast' will be attending, so still no news about Julian. You can read it for yourself here http://www.virginmegastores.co.uk/event/event_greenwing/s.jsf
Looking forward to it anyway! :D

Spotted that Tutt- Sweet had already posted this in the Meet-ups thread - tsk - call myself a website administrator....

The British Sitcom Guide are supposed to be sending out one of their emails any day now, which will apparently include...
- The exclusive lowdown on the extras on the new 'Definitive DVD'
- An awesome competition to win signed copies of the new boxset
- An exclusive interview with the writers (lots of interesting insight!)
- A review of the new sound track CD and a chance to win some copies
- The latest on the signing session (we have the confirmed line up!)
- An update on what the GW cast are now up to
- Plus much more!

So if you're not already signed up it'd be an idea to pop over and add yourself to their mailing list:
