I thought the 'Giedroyc' mentioned must be a relative of Mel's...not exactly a common surname! :)

Can't wait to see this - with such an all star cast it should be a great watch. If I can tear my eyes away from Julian to pay attention to any of the others that is! :swoon:

Julian is in this week's TV and Satellite Times talking briefly about his character in Oliver Twist. He describes him as a "diseased angel" and there's a cute little photo of him in character, birthmark and all. No scan, I'm afraid - I was having a quick peek at the TV magazines while I waited for my bus but didn't buy any.

I also had a quick look through some tv mags in ASDA yesterday, but after flicking through 3 different ones, the woman who was stacking the shelves started to stare at me, so I gave up! I couldn't find anything about him in TV times ot Radio Times. :(

The Radio Times says on the choice page for Sat's Oliver Twist episode that Monks is played by a slyly charming Julian Rhind-Tutt! :)
Also, in The Shadow in the North write up, RT says that Julian, Jared Harris and John Standing are all excellent in their supporting roles. A Radio Times love-fest for all things JRT!
