Anyone heard of a date for this yet?

I thought it was supposed to be a summer release.

The film's website says August 10th presumably for American release so we shouldn't be far behind. They will want to catch the end of the school holidays I would think.
I'm looking forward to it, I enjoyed the book

Bit worrying that yet again there's no mention of Julian in the full cast list?! :( :??:

Whilst waiting for Shrek 3 to come on the other Saturday, they did run the trailer for Stardust - no idea of release date. So it does exist and it will be released sometime soon, surely??

So out for half term rather than summer holidays.
Dear god not cut out completely again. He'll be getting a complex. Surely they have to show all the ghost brothers? :?

He is in one of the trailers they've released...there's a link in another thread on here somewhere.

Thanks for the info, but - October! What are they trying to do to us?

Also slightly worried that it's going to be a 'blink and you miss it' part.

When Julian signed my copy of Stardust he said it was looking good and was going to be out in the Autumn. So october is starting to look better lready although in Hereford it'll probably be nearer Feb 2008

just watched the trailer on youtube and this film looks amazing! only saw about 5 seconds of the ghosts, and two were missing so couldnt tell if Julian was in it or not, but it still looks like my kind of movie!

fantastic cast too, I love Claire Danes!

You could always go and see it in Edinburgh, if you don't fancy waiting til October...

Wonder if they've got special dispensation, or if it'll be released in August in the UK as well?

Just been fannying about on Myspazz and came across this blog by Mitch Benn (who people may be familiar with from The Now Show on Radio 4):

So from what he's saying it looks like all the ghost brothers are definately in the film and that the film is also really good! Yay!

Thanks for that link FQ, it sounds like a great film, and it does sound as if Julian has managedto stay off the cutting room floor this time.

About time too maybe they've finally realised that even if it's only a 5 sec clip of him we'll all be happily off to the cinema and then buying it on DVD.

Mind you I would still have gone even if he wasn't in it

There's already cardboard cut-out posters of Stardust in my local Odeon, so it must be soon.
