Hello everyone, Im new here my name is Rosemary.I really loved this site when I first found it. I first started to like JRT when I saw him on this show on Ch. 20 called An Unsuitable Job for a Woman. And I thought It was so funny how even though there were other people on the screen, I kept looking in his direction, so I decided to tape it and I was so glad I did lol. And then I started to think, wait I know him from somewhere but where... then I thought Notting Hill, he was the time out journalist so I got the tape and sure enough I was right. I had to look him up, and I found this site . I Found out he was in Tomb raider which I had never seen but I thought... cool. and then one day not far from then, It was going to come on ch. 32 and I nearly had a massive haha, And I've been hooked since then . But now, I really want to get the green wing series, but I cant seem to find it
Ive been dazed and confused for so long its not true

I think that's what we all liked about it. If you type Julians name into the search bar in Amazon it should bring up all the stuff he's been in. There is loads of it. In fact there's a few things he's been in I have had to get from the US, so you may find them more readily available. My fav imports for the US are Keen Eddie, Heat of the Sun and Reckless. A quick check on the supporting roles thread will give you some idea of the stuff he has been in and don't forget he's going to be in the new series of Marple which will be airing very shortly in the US

Hi Rosemary
I too am a relative newbie, you'll love this forum,
I was lucky enough to meet some of these JRT devotees
and they are serious fun. I'm sure you'll really enjoy
treading these boards (so to speak).
The Green Wing is superb, may I suggest that you
allocate a hugh amount of time to watching, as once
you start you won't be able to stop. She says guiltily
aware of watching at 4 o'clock in the morning .....
well there always seemed to be one more episode!!
Gabs
PS The proposal scene is my best television moment EVER!
You'll know what I mean when you get there

Hi Slytherin, nice to meet you, and I did much the same thing when I first saw Julian in The Madness of King George - my eyes just kept drifting back to him...
By the way, copies of Green Wing Series 1 and 2 (with Julian's autograph) are currently available in the auction... You may like to know that they spent the night in his dressing room at the National Theatre as well
