OMG this is a bit random, but oh well. doing the rhino run tonight was so worth it!!! (well... sort of)
me and 2 friends had entered, expecting it to be a sort of brightly coloured, guided event, but oh how wrong we were. in short, it was all thunder and lightning etc. and we were given a map of london and sent on our way to try and find some check points. now i don't know about you, but i cannot read a map to save my life. we got very lost and walked about 15 miles over about 3hrs. unsurprisingly, we came last. HOWEVER, what we hadn't realised was that we were the only people in our age group (11-16 ), so we won £90 between us for coming last. and a t-shirt.
go us!!! lol
we also got photographed muchly cos we were in hysterics and everyone else was lookin tired and stressed (they took it seriously, and we entered for a joke). anyway it was fun. and this is random.

What are you going to spend the money on - something related to a fraise-blond?
Glad you had fun; it sounds a bit too energetic for me! Mind you, you are several years younger than me - I'm suddenly feeling very old!
let's just say the money will be well spent
we actually walked the whole thing very slowly, so it wasn't too tiring .
i will also be extremely angry if the rhinos do not master the english language to thank us personally. we sacrificed alot for them...
i'm sorry to hear bout your day baggie, hopefullly things will sort themselves out to an extent.
And i'm his brother Bob.

Well done Alli Rhinos are one of my fav things thats why I sponsor one called Emma!!!!!
Baggie I hope you get the holiday sorted thnkfully I'm off to a villa in the south of France in Sept with Mini mac suprisingly enough. We even have our own pool so I'll be taking my inflatable drink cooler. I have a pic of the pool on my workroom wall. Hoping to do Euro disney with the small one again in dec just about when the theatre sends out a paniced message asking if anyone can sew as they haven't got the panto costumes ready.
Good news is I am going out on that date that was arranged by text at the theatre last night.
Sadly just come back from my parents where we have just buried my beautiful tabby cat 12 who thankfully died in his sleep last night, he hadn't been well for a few weeks but at least he died at home and we didn't have to have him put down. Now I should be sewing but I have a bottle of wine instead

I'm glad you had fun - sounds like it wasn't very well organised though...I did a "walk" for the "Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society" once, around Richmond Park. When I arrived there was no-one else there (as in participaters)and only a couple of organisers so I was sent off in the general right direction and that was basically it! I walked about, what felt like, 10 miles instead of about 5 and didn't see anyone else that looked like they were participating and so "gave up" after a while and was quite disappointed as I was on my own and so had no-one to see the funny-side with so its kinda put me off doing others!

Bit random this but I'm at the theatre and someone has just made me a cup of tea in a cartoon sheep mug that says SHEEP all the way round it. It appears to be yelling at me, all I can hear is Julian and Steve in my head yelling it.
I'm the only one here who finds this funny so thought I'd best share it with others who'd understand why it's so titting funny

We were off to a festival in swansea to see placebo but the whole 3 day thing has been cancelled due to it already being a mud bath and they can't even get the stage up!! #
