I did think his legs were a slightly different colour to his upper body and there was a bizarre lack of lower belly hair, if you know what I mean.

Read this, burst out laughing - everyone at work asking what's so funny about the policy document I'm supposed to be editing!

I really must clean up my mind!

I can tell you Play.com will be getting a right ticking off tonight if Bunny Fever hasn't turned up when I get home tonight.

I can feel a plate of Spit roast carrier pidgeon coming on :(

Lucky you, Baggie, mine still hasn't got here although it's apparently been sent. Mind you, I did have a near miss with a pigeon in the car this morning, but I'm sure it wasn't carrying any parcels. :?

...I think most of us have a dirty mind anyway, just some of us don't like to admit it!! Anyway, regarding what G&C wrote, I "howled" with laughter and at the same time thought "Ooh-er missis - saucy minx!" (hehe) and almost made a comment about it, on here, myself but.....you did instead - obviously - great/ dirty minds think alike eh?

I'm glad it's not just me!

Felt like I had lowered the tone a bit.

I don't think you could possibly "lower" the tone anymore than usual anyway Lil (hehe) ...we are all just "human" after all! Though perhaps, some more reserved than others?!.....on here...Nay - not possible!! :P.............

....."Miranda" arrived today so I shall spend a nice quiet night in (alone) with Julian...so to speak - bliss!

My pidgeon arrived on Saturday but I haven't been alone in the house since to watch it. I was out on the road a lot of yesterday and when I got back my daughter was here (Why are uni courses only 3 years??? ) I want to watch it in private really but I can't even watch it in the main lounge and turn off if anyone approaches because the digi cable is wired to the telly in the smaller lounge through the video player which in turn is wired to the dvd player and if someone is flicking through the channels down there, they can find your DVD channel and watch with you.
AND my computer has been Keen Eddie - fied (ie region 1, and you can only change regions 4 times in the life of the computer). But when everyone goes out, I will get to watch it.

Baggie so glad the pigeon and Julian finally made it to you.Sit back and enjoy a whole evening of Julian, what else is there to do on a tuesday night.

Miranda is great but I'm a big John Simm fan too so life doesn't get much better than this.

Hope the poor old pigeon gets to you all soon

If any of you still haven't had your dvd despatched from Amazon or Play, you might like to try what I did - I ordered Friday off the film website, (link posted by FQ a while back) paid £9.99 and it arrived today, still with a free 'toy' :D

Hoorah, the carrier pigeon finally arrived here yesterday, Rabbit Fever clutched firmly in his beak!

Have not had time to watch it yet, as I've had work and various other stuff to do, then had to drive daughter and friends off to Borehamwood to go on Big Brother's Little Brother (cue squeeing from back seat of car regarding Dermot O'Leary, who sounds as if he's as charming as Julian, even if not as well blessed in the hair department).

But tomorrow is reserved for the man in the flesh-coloured pants....

Rabbit Fever review

Postby sven » Thu Jun 28, 2007 12:09 pm

From this month's DVD Review (by Henry Yates):

RABBIT FEVER - Not the sequel to Watership Down...

Brought to the nation's attention via an early episode of Sex And The City, the dual-action, bunny-shaped vibrator known as the Rabbit is now apparently a mainstay in the handbags of Britain's independent women (supposedly selling in greater quantities last year than appliances such as the washing machine and the tumble dryer). As a phenomenon, of course, this has "quirky-but-quickly-forgotten British comedy" written all over it, and writer Stephen Raphael has obliged with a straight-faced mockumentary investigating the Rabbit and its fallout.

Rabbit Fever should be awful, really - it's a one-joke movie that polarises its audience (inevitably, men will laugh less than women) and is neither lewd enough for the hen parties nor subtle enough to take seriously. Yet there's something strangely endearing about director Ian Denyer's execution that not only keeps you loafing on the sofa for the duration but also prompts a handful of genuine chuckles.

Over a light-footed two hours - and a handful of deleted scenes that should have stayed that way - we're introduced to the men who manufacture the colourful dildos, the women whose lives revolve around them, and the bruised egos behind the pleasuring. Indeed, the funniest moment comes when sidelined husband (played by Green Wing's ever-reliable Julian Rhind-Tutt ) reacts to his wife's new obsession by boiling her Rabbit on the stove, a la Fatal Attraction.

The acting helps. Bar a typically wooden cameo appearance in which Richard Branson announces free Rabbits on all Virgin Atlantic flights, the cast are generally convincing enough to carry the scenarios and, at its best, this gives Rabbit Fever a feel that approaches vintage Brass Eye. It all adds up to a diverting effort that deserves to cause a certain amount of buzz. ***

An endearing little comedy - get it in your handbag...

Well I have to admit I enjoyed watching it, and I did genuinely chuckle once or twice. I haven't come to a conclusion about the big body stocking debate yet I think I need to watch that part again :D
