British Theatre/Actors in their Prime

Postby tutt-sweet » Thu Jun 21, 2007 10:44 am

Not sure if anyone saw the Observer [on Sunday] Review on 10 June, but there was quite a lot in it about young & up & coming actors [incl Toby Stephens, Damien Lewis & Tom Hollander ] & also actors in their prime.

I haven't been able to scan it as it's a pretty long article but it is worth a read if you are keen on British theatre & thespians in general. It includes snippets/quotes from the Observer's choice of their top 50 actors- very sadly JRT didn't make their list! :bawl:

It is in 3 parts so just follow the links- sorry sadly no pics as in the original article! :(

:??: No Julian, no David Tennant, no Stephen Mangan, no Ben Whishaw, no Tom Hardy, no Tamsin Greig, no Shirley Henderson............. what does an actor have to do to be "up and coming"?!!!

Poppycock.

Stuff and nonsense.

Yes I saw the original of that article in the paper...lots of my favourites in it but yeah quite a few glaring omissions too!
