i'll starrt with my amazing night at the russell howard gig!!! well there's not much to say except it was ofcourse amazing. we arrived only half an hour before, so the only seats left were the little tables at the very front where the chair legs are literally against the stage. i was soo disappointed
when russell came on he had just been outside aiting in the rain and thunder and lightning, so was soaking (when he sook his hair off a little bit it landed on me) and swore a lot
i thought that the whole thing was brilliant and of course hiliarious, he told lots of good stories and once again that boyish charm completely won me over (not that i needed to be won). his brother was in the audience as well and it was strange seeing how different they look!! you would never guess that they're brothers (or at least i wouldn't have).
Steve williams who was after him was also very good, but to be honest i can't remember much of him.
so yeah... that's it. please share other experiences, opinions, people we should find out more about etc.
i don't really know what to say now.... oh well.
) but none of my friends are around/can afford it - its in Suffolk so I would have gone for the weekend (and its my birthday that weekend too!) but C'est la Vie!!
