congrats Baggie it's as lovely as he is. My sister wrote to him a few months ago without telling me before they knew I was off to Landscapes and might have the chance to meet him so here's hoping. Wouldn't it be great if it turned up on my birthday.
Although him turning up would be better

What did he send you that had to have such a big envelope? I am intrigued?!
He must have had a quiet weekend where he thought he'd go through his post. I think that must be the nice bit of being famous, reading your fanmail.
I was trying to sneakily watch the (I think it's called) Seven Ages of Rock on BBC2 just to hear his voice but kept turning it over when my husband came in the room. I feel like I'm hiding and addiction or an affair!!!

Unfortunately, I cannot put it by my bedside but I will be teaching my 20 month old daughter to say Julian when she sees it. She has perfected saying Elvis when I show her any picture of him. Elvis is a fridge magnet and Julian is now on my fridge so will start the lesson this week.
I have such a lovely time going to the fridge!

minki my nephew has just brought me another drawing of Aunty Emm and Uncle Julian, yes he had orange hair, this is the 4th one he's done. Maybe my obsession is getting out of control
I'll have to scan one in but please remember he's only 3

Oh dear, sounds like your nephew has possibly picked up on your occasional JRT mentions.
Do you also have an obsession with David Tennant (re: laser screwdriver reference) as I find him extremely attractive?
I never used to like men that looked like JRT or David Tennant as I prefer beefier men, but now it seems I do. Must be my age.
I told my husband I'm going to write to him next and he just raised his eyes.
I'm going to Waterstones at Bluewater on Wednesday to see Gordon Ramsey to try and get my rough bloke fix. Can't explain liking him.

I think you'll find that quite a few of us on here are also rather enamoured with Mr Tennant...I have been for ages!
He's actually really good about sending back a signed photo if you write to him...usually only takes a couple of months.

I think there are enough letters...if you look close enough - you can just about make out the "e" and "r" - I stick to what I said anyway.....
....perhaps he thought you and your friend were as close as sisters but bless him, he did make the effort to reply and he probably does sent out tons of photos so he can't always get it right can he - really?...or am I being unfair (actually, probably just jealous as I haven't got a signed photo yet mind you, would help to write first! I will soon though!!!)
