maybe it's because I've been in a flooded mud ridden marquee for 2 days but I love the fact that he was cheeky after he split his trousers (sorry about the pun)

...thats was very funny- your pun I mean - I did have a bit of a wee chuckle there...very good! Your witt's as "sharp as a knife"..
"I'll need something sharp; clearly, I wont be using your witt!!" Mac says to Guy at the P/man's Ball...sorry couldn't resist that one....see I can be "sharp" too!!

All your stories are so lovely. I do like seals, so I don't mind being compared, thank you.

I'm sure he is amazed at the adoration he has from his devoted fans and I'm sure he must have looked on here out of curiosity. He must have Googled himself.

I love the detailed descriptions of your meetings and conversations. How long is the play on for? Seven times! I am impressed. Is the actual play very good? Can I still get tickets? I think I'll ask a friend to go with me instead of my husband and will probably see you at the stage door.

I cannot imagine what my teenage years would have been like if I'd had the internet then. I'm obviously having my teenage obsession now.

well, I couldn't think of a better person to have an obsession with! I must admit I did feel like a school girl with a "crush" when I first saw him....my heart was thumping, I shouted "OMG - its him!" and was all giggerly too - I think that sums up a school- girl crush nicely...don't you?
I will be going to the play on the 3rd and also the talk on the 29th! Can't wait to meet the "lion's Mane" again!!!!

A request. Is there anyone going to the platform re LWW on 29 June who has a ticket for a seat at the end of a row, the further back the better, who would like to swap it for a seat in the from row?

Please pm me.

Just keeping the "famous people attendance list" up-to-date:
Someone I'm friends with on livejournal went to see it last night and saw Niamh Cusack & Dominic Cooper there!
Would've been nice to have seen Dom...he is quite yummy...

I've just realised that the National is doing podcasts of the platforms, this is fantastic news for those of us that can't be there, and saves the lucky ones having to risk being thrown out by secretly recording it. I don't know if everyone can listen to podcasts, but I'll put it up on esnips anyway.

Thanks so much, I was feeling quite down about it to be honest but now we don't have to miss out!

Brilliant!

I was feeling fed up - overworked, underpaid and annoyed that LWW is nearly ended and I wont have seen it - so this has cheered me up.

Thanks ducatilady! :)
