Ah i do like those, even though Andy Parson blatently ripped off Monty Python's Life of Brian, but it's still funny.

Linkaneo - Ed Byrne live...is fantastic. I went to see him earlier in the year at the Riverside studios in Hammersmith and then again at a small comedy venue in Nottingham. He is so funny especially when he's had one too many and forgets his punchlines !

Guys I'm going to do some weeding so I'm going to create a new thread for comics/comedians/stand ups - if nothing else I'm sure I shall have some info to impart/stories to tell ;)

Yeah I got all excited about that email thinking it was the next Pegg/Frost/Wright project...and then was sorely disappointed when I actually went on the site! :(

Here's a tenuous Doctor Who link:
Last Friday (I think!) on Jonathan Ross, Bruce Willis was on the sofa and Jonathan reminded him that when he was last on the show his phone had rung mid-interview. He'd very rudely decided to answer it and it happened to be his girlfriend on the phone. Jonathan had asked to speak to her and hilarity ensued, etc., etc.

Anyway, on this occasion Jonathan got his own back (well, sort of!) when his phone rang mid-interview (with a Doctor Who ring tone, no less! ) and he very rudely decided to answer it and it happened to be his mother-in-law on the phone (allegedly!).

Bruce went: "Can I talk to her?" and Jonathan said down the phone: "Bruce wants to talk to you." He then passed the phone to Bruce who said: "So what are you wearing?" Obviously, the poor woman had no idea which Bruce she was speaking to and she hung up!

I thought it was funny...............

He looks quite pretty over there

I'm really annoyed with myself...I went out last night and forgot to record Hyperdrive. :(
Haven't seen Steve in anything new for ages. :(

It was a fab episode. The Mangan was in good form doing some singing and being nasty hmmm who does that remind me of?
I'm a big Hyperdrive fan especially Teal.

I must admit I'm not a Hyperdrive fan - it's more hubby's bag than mine! *ducks from flying rotting eggs and vegetables* :P
Stephen was great in lovelorn mode, though! :D

Don't worry, faeriequeen, there'll probably be a late night repeat sometime soon.

I've got a tape of it if anyone needs it. It also has Mock the week as well with the rather lovely ( but slightly more fraise blonde than usual) Russell Howard

Calling all Christopher Eccleston fans (if there are indeed any on this forum!).
He'll be starring in Heroes as Claude who has the power of invisibility but won't make an appearance (no pun intended! ) until episode 12.

It starts with a double bill @ 9 p.m on Wednesday the 25th on BBC2.

Apparently it's a cross between Lost, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Trek, Doctor Who, The X Files and Battlestar Galactica according to the Radio Times. I'll certainly be tuning in!

I've been watching it, too. I'm still reserving judgement but I will admit there's something about it that doesn't quite work.

Watching Cape Wrath too.
I love David Morrissey, but not sure if I'm going to continue with it. As you say something doesn't quite work.

Hubby slept through last nights episode so I don't think we will be watching it anymore. Some nice individual performances but it doesn't gel
