did someone mention james nesbitt??? cos he lives on my road, so naturally i'm friends with him and his family. a very nice man with lovely kids.
if you follow this link to the mock the week website and go to the bottom there should be another link saying something along the lines of 'to apply for tickets ...etc.' and click on that. it doesn't guarantee tickets, but it's worth doing anyway
plus it's free!!
Ali225, please please tell me how to get tickets for Mock the Week, I willbow down to you eternally if you do!!
*pleads!*

Thankyou Maisie for the banner
Ooh G&C John Simm is in doctor Who now! HOORAY. He's not really my type but he's v. cool anyway and Mum absolutely adores him
I so heart Mock The Week. It's like, my panel favourite show ever, possibly excluding QI, although i dont know sometimes. Russel Howard rocks. And so does Ed Byrne. Ed Byrne is mint. But nothing beats Hugh Dennis' "Scene We'd Like to See: Rejected Lines for Harry Potter":
'My name is Lord Voldemort!
..And I
Am an Alcoholic."
That cracks me up no end.

I know! It's a wand. It's a magical, magical wand.

anyone seen blades of glory??? i saw it yesterday (in the greenwich private screening room- tres posh!! )
i loved it!!! although it would have been infinitely better if the two guys had turned gay and got together, but oh well. the FLASH song that they skated to at the end is also my little group's song, so that was cool.
i also loved the slash moment at the end with the brother and sister skaters....
good film that! although i have now got that really catchy aerosmith song "don't wonna miss a thing" in my head

*dies laughing*
'Scenes we'd like to see' is awesome, one of my favourites was the 'Bits that didn't make it into the Bible' one ...
Andy Parsons - He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy
Hugh Dennis - And God said, let there be light ... sponsored by Powergen.
or, 'Rejected exam questions'
Frankie Boyle - 'Spell Mississippi, without looking at how we've spelt it in the question'
zomg, John Simm on DW - the absolute win!!
