FQ glad you had a great time. How good would it be if Simon Pegg and Julian worked together again, hippies is currently the DVD of choice at G&C's house. Add to that Edgar wright, Nick Frost and of course Stephen Mangan and it would be as close to perfect s anything could get :D

I haven't watched that yet but doesn't he also play one of the Village of The Year judges in the actual film? At least that's what Edgar Wright says in the commentary!

we teased him about that in a drama lesson shortly after "hot fuzz" hit the screens. :D we were sat in a circle and my friend sed suddenly "wait! its that man from Hot Fuzz! can i have your autograph? (as a joke)" the whole class laughed and so did he and we clapped him :P. we were saying "so sir, do u have anything else in the pipeline?" 8) hehehehehe he laughed, he's such an awesome guy.

That was hilarious. I LOVE Mock the Week, and that may be my favourite moment from the show ever! Especially when Russell Howard asks him if he's ever drunk beer from his foot ... and he says yes!!
I was watching some YouTube clips of him yesterday - he is so, so funny. He's touring right now, but I can't go because of exams and location - I'm SO gutted!

My husband and I are huge Mock the Week fans and Russell Howard is definitely one of our favourite panellists as is Frankie Boyle. Loved the prosthetic limb gags, too!

Try Russell's myspace page for all his latest gigs and I know Adam is playing comedy store at start of July and possibly the newbury comedy festival too! Best place to check for gig dates is chortle, altho not always accurate :)

p.s Make sure you listen to Russell's show on BBC 6 music, Sundays 10-1 :)

It's so frustrating - I can't go to ANY of these gigs. I've been waiting for Russell and Adam to go on tour for aaaaaages, and now I can't go and see either of them! *cries*

I'd love to go to the Edinburgh Festival to see them both, but it's too far!

I adore Mock the Week - Frankie Boyle, Russell Howard and Hugh Dennis are all fab, as is Dara O'Brien, naturally. I got that email too, Baggiebird, and practically whooped in excitement of MTW coming back! :D

me too! MTW is one of my favourite programmes, I guess we all like anarchic humour cos lets face it , it was Green Wing that got most of us hooked on Julian in the first place.

Going back to the whole "favourite actor" topic again ( sorry!) ...I forgot to mention James Nesbitt ("Well....helllow there!") and talking of him...

Just seen tonight's first episode of "Jekyll" on BBC 1 (anyone else watch it?) and it was pretty good and boy ..is Mr Hyde sexy as hell! (come to mama!) and did you notice who else was in it too?!...Only "lovely" Lyndon from everyone's fav GWing and he had a sexy american accent (not usually a fan of that accent but he does it well...mmm mmmmm!!)
Five more episodes to go and it looks like it will get even better!! - LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT WEEK ALREADY!
