Thanks, xpingux! You've been a busy girl of late, haven't you? :D

His character's so timid, bless him! I don't believe I've ever seen him wear glasses before; love the way they've tamed the lion's mane and given him a side parting, too - he looks so ........... scholarly!!!

Also, love Lisa Stansfield's seemingly seamless transition from songstress to actress.

Great to see a clip after knowing about it so long. Its an excellent cast. Dennis Lawson and Juliet Stevenson are both fab.

just sneakily watched it at work with no volume kept getting interupted by people wanting to buy tickets. How inconsiderate!!

Just realised I've screwed up badly with darker hair and glasses Julian is the spitting image of my plumber who wanted to go out with me!! My shower isn't working properly so I may have to call him.

The plumber that is unless Julian's any good at DIY??

Vague recollection that when he and Michelle were interviewed by Jonathon Ross he was carrying a U bend or some kind of pipe that he'd been sent out to get on his way home. So he must know a bit

If I remember correctly, Michelle scoffed and said he wasn't doing the work himself - I've no doubt that he'd look good topless and wearing a tool belt, though................

Anyway, having never watched the more recent series of Marple, I've been watching them on ITV and I must say I've thoroughly enjoyed them - it really is a celeb fest; even the tiniest of cameos tends to be played by one household name or another. Roll on the new series, I say!!!!! :D

i'm stuck with the image of him topless with a tool belt in my head. It may be the only thought that gets me through the day :swoon: :jd:
