I agree with you FQ & G&C... can't have too much of a good thing eh?!
I think that he's learned that we're not all total nutters & that he is quite safe coming out & chatting to us. I think he also realises now how much we all appreciate him making the effort to come out to see us too.
He seems faintly bemused by all the attention but I'm sure he must be enjoying it too...if not, he puts on a bloody good act of pretence!??
Enjoy it/him while you can girls, it's only for another few weeks, & it may be years before we get to see him again like this.[if ever]

well i'm pretty sure there's a few of us here that can sew
Maybe I'd be more enthusiastic about sewing if it was for him, but seeing as I make wedding dresses and hats I'm not so sure how good he'd look in any of them.
What am I saying the man would look good in anything

That would be well and truly scary......
Scarily enought Patchy I can knit ! But really I need to get his measurements in order to make him a fluffy jumper
I'm no longer a LWW virgin either! Hooray!
Sorry it's taken so long for me to write since Monday I've just done so much, i got back from london on wednesday morning, got an hour's sleep then went out with friends for my birthday - i fell unconscious last night with the light on, hehe!!
I thought the play was fantastic - all the actors seemed really emotionally involved with their characters (esp. the moments where Tome and Julian were on the verge of tears), which made the play all the more beleivable.
The sound-based screw up was hilarious though. They looked awkward after and i thought they'd forgotten their lines because they were talking about traffic and noise - but i read Jade's script and, apparently not! Hehehe! That cracked me up so much.
I met Julian (Hooray!) afterwards and was bemused as to his utter excitement at the three girls that were there apart from Jade and I, but I patiently waited and showed him my pictures that I'd drawn. He seemed impressed which I was excessively pleased at and wrote on the one of him, "Lucy, Amazing! Happy birthday love from Julian (Rhind-Tutt) x" - why he wrote his surname in brackets we'll never know but I was chuffed to bits none the less. Then he gave me a big birthday hug and I assumed he'd let go quickly but he didn't he held on while my friend Grant found his camera and took a photograph - I was in heaven! hehehe.
All in all a great night was had by all I think and I had a great time in London the rest of the time i was there. =)
I got a photo of us though. I was exploding inside!!
Hurrah. I've a photo of Jade, her friend and I as well but Grant won't give me it yet.

Thanks guys I was looking forward to it a helluvalot - plus it's right in the middle of my exams so a much appreciated break!
That's a great idea FQ - a card how cute - although, it its the 3rd of July you're talking about, we have a month, we could post it around and all sign it, then send it back to you? I think that be a crazy but v. v. cool idea? hehe. Or am I just being mad now? We could chip in a bit of happy birthday too as that's on the 20th isn't it? teehee. =D

FQ, How about a card with all of us in it . to save signing it individually?
With your vast technological skills perhaps you could 'snip' pics of all of us from all the various posts on here [adding names so he'll have a reference point] making it like a bit of a collage type thing maybe? I'm sure no one would object to having their pic in a card to him?
Any more ideas anyone?
