Seven Ages of Rock
Seven Ages of Rock started last night - I would have watched it anyway as I always love these rock history things, but it was a lovely added bonus having Julian's voice as well. It is a seven part series, and it appears that Julian is doing all the narration
A nice little treat, although I found myself thinking that Jimi Hendrix may well be the greatest guitarist in the world ever, but it would be better if he would be quiet and let Julian talk...

I attempted to watch it with most of the family celebrating/sulking regarding the footy result. Although most of them did have the good grace to shut up when Julian was on. Apparently I was shooting them dirty looks. Did tape it though so will watch it later

The different eras of rock and who the most influential people of that era were.
Yesterday it was the Sixties and Jimi Hendrix was the icon of that era. 'Twas pretty cool, actually- it made me dig out some of my old favourites.

I think the game will be up when we actually watch it!
Haha! I wonder if the woman from the shop will be watching it? hehehe!
I think everyone's significant others will all be wearing the same expression.
I know! It's a wand. It's a magical, magical wand.

Not keen on this review of the programme, and can't work out if the comment about Julian is an insult or not! Can anyone explain? Also, is the reviewer blind?http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/tv_and_radio/article1812680.ece?openComment=true

think it's meant to be an insult probably because he pronounces his words properly as they used too on old news reals. Anyway whoever it is is clearly colour blind and probably has an ex-girlfriend who used to talk about Julian too much.
Personally I like the fact that he uses the Queen's English it makes a change
