I quite agree with all you say Jools & I'm sure we won't let you down.

However, I do have to say that on one occasion recently when I was waiting patiently to speak to Julian after the play, there were some quite loud young/teenage people waiting to see him too & he did look rather intimidated by their 'enthusiasm' .

I'm not having a go at younger people at all [tho' God knows EVERYone is younger than me! ] , just asking that everyone , irrespective of age, keeps calm & fairly quiet.

I'm sure Julian must feel very intimidated by all of us waiting to see him, so we should try to make this as pleasurable an experience for HIM & not just for ourselves.

"Here endeth the 1st lesson"! ....Gosh I am a crabby old bat aren't I?!!

See you there folks- I'll be the one at the back of the crowd!

I must admit if I can come on the 5th I'd like to get my photo from the other day signed, if I can't I still had a wonderful time meeting Julian the first time . I did manage to get my program signed by him and Jason would love to get Pippa's and Tom's to complet the set. :D

The pub does sound like a good idea for those of us have already done a bit of stagedooring, and I agree with you Tutt-sweet - it is very easy to be unintentionally intimidating, even more so if there is a big group.

Also, we don't want to forget the main point of the 5th, which was for the forum users to all get together.... I am really looking forward to meeting everyone, just as much as I am looking forward to the play!

I agree with that totally the whole reason I want to come that day is to see those of you i've met before as well as meet the other members coming and ofcourse see the play again.

Thank you all for your consideration, as I said before, I haven't clapped eyes on him ever before so it will be good to get 'first dibs' on a programme signing - providing he does come to see us.
I'm sure Steve will have told him what a good time he had at the convention and that, although we are a little obsessive, we are not raving mad stalkers  even when approached en mass.

My word Minimarsbar are you in for a treat then!!! I'm sure he will come out to meet people, he's been so very considerate about doing it so far....even when he had guests waiting to see him.

Gosh, if Steve's told him all about his experiences at the Convention we won't see him for dust!!!

Looking forward to meeting you again too. :)

I got an idea this morning: for everybody, who write here in forum actively, please go see a play and J. at the door at least 2 more times: one time getting together (as you want to meet each other as welll) and the second time you spread through all days of a play going alone- well, with somebody but not in a group.
Then we will have fresh reports and pictures here almost every day
We all want fresh pictures dont we?
:lv:
Just hoping that J. dont leg it

well i'm going on the 16th either with mum or one of my friends if she can get up from devon. Either way i'll write down what they think as I've already posted my opinion . it should be interesting if it is my mate as she wants to see the play rather than JRT (I had to explain who he was!) mind you she did get a bit more excited after i lent her my GW dvd's

i'm only going 3 times ( at the moment ) the play is brilliant. Mind you i've seen muse 6 times and RHCP 4 so I have a habit of going back to see things I've enjoyed .

Good job I don't live in London otherwise look how many times I could have gone :?

Just a quick message to those of you going on sat I'll see you at the hotel. Just booked train tickets and I get to london around 2.30. Made serious brownie points with mum by picking her up at birm airport at 1.45 this morning , still haven't had more than 3 hours sleep.

Will take the various mobile no.s just in case i'm late or lost!!!!!!

Finally found out what my wonderful mum wants for her birthday, tickets to see LWW as I've finally converted her, so she'll be coming with me on the 16th :D . She has promised to behave

Spending tomorrow laying my patio ( seem to have spent all my money on tickets etc) so hopefully will still be able to move by the time I see you all.

Looking forward to meeting you all again ( and for the first time) And will all have a toast for my wonderful mum's birthday :P

Just to confirm the arrangements again for everyone meeting at the South Bank on Saturday. 5.30 at Pizza Express behind the National, 6.30 in bar/terrace just outside the National Theatre main entrance (unless it is raining, in which case we'll be indoors.

If anyone needs my mobile or any help, please pm me!
