He looks really sharp in that suit and I just love his hair like that (the style more than the colour!) - it makes him look so boyishly sweet in these photos from the evening do.
:lv:

Sorry, Jools/chatterbox if they've already been posted; I did have a good look round the photobucket gallery first! :D

Thanks for that ch1ch1 - I couldn't find them either...

He does look lovely in that suit. I hadn't seen a couple of the pics at the bottom of that page either, the one with the baby girl is very sweet.

Thanks for the picture link ch1ch1, and the audio clip ducatilady.

Steve and Julian are such a good double act, let's hope they carry on doing the occasional thing like this together. :)

Haha, I'm afraid it's a phrase nicked off of Spaced and Shaun of The Dead! :P

I've watched them both and no, I don't remember hearing it before! :?
Mind you, it's been an age since I watched them last. Still, I would've remembered.............

Well in Spaced they only talk about it on the commentary, as apparently when anyone did anything particularly good on set it was called "fried gold"...and then in SOTD there's the phrase "How's that for a slice of fried gold?" when they're talking about their plan of action.

OMG! Was at work last night so didn't get the Google Alert until this morning and zoomed straight here to see who else had got it.

The prospect of dinner with Steve'n'Jules (TM) sent me all light-headed for a minute. Who would really be able to concentrate on eating if they were sharing a table with those two? Surely the risk of sporfling food all over the place at their banter would be too great?!
