Meet-up's.

Over on the SM forum, alot of us have planned to meet up, should there be a signing for GW.

Obviously, many if not all of us are GW fans here, so who would be interested in meeting up also? Regardless of wether Julian will be attending (although it will be a HUGE bonus) it should be an interesting event.

We also have the premier of Rabbit Fever when that is realised, which is another "Meet-up" opportunity, as well as the possible release of the film Venus.

What does everyone think?

i was gonna suggest that in the ch4 gw forum. i think it's a really good idea, but i think all te cast might run away if they saw loads of us all coming together!!

Of course we will all be on our best behaviour. No fainting, unless of course it guarantees you a seat on JRT's lap, and no vomiting on their shoes either

I would love to go to something like that but unless it is quite close to me, like in Manchester there won't be much chance of me being able to go as I am only 15 (A very mature 15 I might add! ...sometimes) *sniff*

[sigh] If only there were people I knew who live near me on this place, I might have a better chance of being able to go but unfortunately I am one of a very few around where I live who properly appreciate the geniosity of JRT/Stephen Mangan/all the green wing cast. *sniffs again*

Sounds like an excellent idea to me, but unfortunatelly I'll only be with you with my heart and soul . A bit too far to travel just for a signing... but hey, maybe I can stay longer and join the signing with a holiday trip throughtout the UK *dreams on*

Dude, I'm hopefully going to Manchester Uni in september...but I'll definately come back to London if there's a signing, so you could go with me if you like!

Lol, yeah it would be useful to know when it is...as I'll need to know when to conserve my student loan to be able to make the trip back down to London! I'm going to be so poor around october/november as the Doctor Who Series 2 boxset is also coming out!

It certainly seems like a bit of forward planning might be needed if we are going to get organised at what might be short notice. I expect you are far better qualified and informed than me, but *steps hesitantly forward*. I'm happy to help co-ordinate or organise if necessary.

Thanks Chatterbox. I can certainly do with some help in organising. As soon as I hear the date (I am really hoping there will be one) then we can start making plans.

Is everyone good with signing, dinner then drinks?

Also I know Jools has said that she'd take my offer up, but if anyone needs a floor for the night, then let me know I have a large Living room, and I can easily borrow pillows/quilts etc.

As for sleeping space, I live an hour out of London in Hampshire, but people are welcome to use me as a staging post - I have plenty of floor space as well!!
