I only got mine yesterday, and was annoyed to find out the month study leave before the start of exams we were promised has been cut down to, a grand total of... 1 day one was not amused by this...

I have really really enjoyed the last two years of doing GCSE Religion and Philosophy/Philosophy and Ethics, and i'm really excited about doing A level Philosophy and also A level Psychology. It should be really good

I loved my History GCSE!! We went on a trip to Belgium in year 10 for a weekend. I fell asleep against the window of the bus on a hot day and got sunburn right down one half of my face and my right arm. Then it was my birthday and it rained all day.
I want to be a History teacher.
Look forward to A-Level Psychology, B! It's really good but the exam format if a bit of a b*tch. 18-mark essays in as many minutes if you're with the same exam board as me. And six of them in a row. According to our teacher, that's the easiest one as well. No pressure!! =D
Good luck with your exams. GCSEs are a cinch

History has been immense, i love it. We did our coursework on Jack The Ripper, and i tell you, i have never been so interested in lessons in my life! i was so gutted when the course finished
Thanks Linka, i am really looking forward to just getting GCSEs out of the way, and then going onto the fun stuff of A levels

Hehe. You go for it. Results Day was cool, although slightly worrying. I held my envelope for ten minutes before opening it. I was fine though, and you seem bloody clever so I'm sure you'll have nothing to worry about
A Levels are fun, but they're tough. Coursework heavy subjects drag. A-Level History rocks the world, seriously, take it!

I'm taking Drama and Theatre studies, Philosophy, english literature and psychology. i wanted to do history, but it's in the same column as drama and i wouldn't miss out on that for all the things in the world
awwww bless...brainy *sigh* it isn't everyday i get called that down here
I'm average, not too good with science and maths, but i am just so interested with psychology and philosophy, theology etc etc. i just find it all so facinating

Oh cool! That sounds like a good mix. I did GCSE Drama and I loved it, but a different department handles A-Level Performing Arts at our school - the Music department - they all hate me. TWo of them, the main teacher women. One's the size of a house, with matching ego, and the other makes Anne Robinson look like Auntie Mabel. I asked her to write in my Leaver's book last May and she wrote, "Dear Lucy, I hope that some day your head falls off, and horse will come along and kick it into the mud."
Lovely woman. Not. I dropped GCSE Music because the fat one spent an entire class making us copy from books while she browsed eBay on her laptop. In another room. So I didn't take it.
Which is a shame, I've had acting experience and I'd love to get back into it. Equity wouldn't take me on though because my contracts have expired and I don't know where to get paid work without an agent.
I can always hope something may happen.
English Literature is my hardest course at the moment; the Shakespeare was great. We did A Streetcar Named Desire (Tenesee Williams) and Romantic poetry at the start which was great, but now we're delving to the dreary depths of post-war poetry and Charles Dickens' "
Hard Times". It really makes you want to die it's so painfully dull. I hope for you sakes you're on a different board =P
I'm dropping E. Lit in June, four A-Levels I think will be too much next year with an increased workload. I'll be left with Maths, Psychology and History. A fair mix, I think

Well well, we are a diverse lot! I've always wanted to get into stuff like Psychology and Philosophy like you B, but I'm pretty sure my brain doesn't function in that way! Hehe.
:O Linka, your Music teachers sound vile! Poor you.
Seconded. It's pretty tough going at the moment; I'm doing AS and A2 English Lit both this year (*facepalm*) on top of English Language and Media Studies. I have approximately twelve hours of English lessons a week, and I see my English teacher more than my best friend! Lolz. Good job I'm such an English nut!
:O FQ, didn't know you did Italian too! Italian is a bit sexy ... *swoon*
