well there is absolutely no way for me to see the play - too far away and too hard to make it happened, so please, more stories and pictures on how it is going.
Ah you all happy people.
I hope for more TV or film work for J. to have a chance to see new things. Even better if he would do some internets show (podcasts, net videoshows may be) - never mind what the theme could be - anything actually. The audience is huge right away because it is very accessible. Ok now I'm daydreaming ( morning dreaming rather, again).

Sounds like you both had a great time. When I went there were lots of famous faces in the audience, as well grenniespex, so the play is certainly getting lots of attention. Faeriequeen - awaiting your report with interest - and photos?

Yeah we got a few photos with Julian and Tom afterwards. :D
And I saw Helen Mirren too! She was sitting quite near me...it was so cool.

There were a couple of other girls hanging around, but they left before Julian came out. And then there was also this guy who was clearly and e-bay autograph dealer (spit) but he also left. Clearly we were the hardcore! :P

I'm a hardcore stage-doorer too. I think it's the fact that I hardly ever get t'chance to meet anyone that does it.

Ross Noble's probably too scared to come back to Glasgow; I'm always there waiting for him. :P

Just got a promotional e-mail from the National and they have used a picture of Julian to illustrate the play. Nice that Julian is finally being seen as the person to bring in the crowds.

There's a review in The Times (page 26). It's not in the online version yet, though.

Reviewer's verdict on the play has similarities with The Guardian piece, i.e. that all the performances are strong but some aspects of the views expressed by Tom Hollander's character seem a bit too naive.

It gets 3 stars out of 5 and there's a nice colour pic of our boy with Pippa snarling at him! :lol:

Hahaha. I'm much the same. I have a special spot that I sit in outside City Hal where I always meet the people - I love our City Hall - it only has one door! :rofl:
Ross Noble did a big run in November and when I met him he was chatting to me and about 6 others for 45 minutes! He's well funny.
