Is It Me Or Is Everything Sh*t?

Postby ch1ch1 » Wed Jan 24, 2007 12:04 pm

:sos: I had a burning desire to listen to Is It Me Or Is Everything Sh*t.... today (I think it may have something to do with the general excitement over Julian's French accent in it!) but discovered it wasn't in the audio section. :(
If anyone out there could please tell me where I can find clips or is able to upload it, I would be eternally grateful :thanks:

I do love this book. I think it's because it's Julian and Steve narrating :D

It's brilliant anyway, but they narrate it with such VENOM! The bit about David Bowie's teeth springs to mind...

But I can't be the only one who finds themself agreeing with everything they say! :?

I adore this! I read the book a while ago, and it is brilliant anyway, so I was ridiculously excited to find it (provided by the ever fabulous _faeriequeen) read by the lovely pair. They seem to be enjoying it so much!

Usually I'm not a fan of excessive swearing, but I find it oddly endearing when JRT does in this! I also love this extra addition about audiobooks :D

I love posh people. The accent is so sexy! I hope JRT and SM will voice the second volume too!

My favourite bits have to be
bling: "Tsa Tsa Gabor - the motherfuckin' bomb!"

the baby clothes: "dahlin we've had the baby for like 3 weeks now or sumfin, can we drop it off at the charity shop...like with shoes?"

and the Prince William/"being taken roughly from behind by Prince Harry" bit!
