I have! I used to enjoy this series- but I still think the books are better.

Helen Baxendale[ from Cold Feet & numerous other things] & Annette Crosby [Mrs ((I don't believe it)) Victor Meldrew!] are usually good, but I have to say that sadly I can't recall JRT's part in this episode! [shock horror etc! ] Hope JRT doesn't end up being the corpse?!!!

Do I also remember the charming Mr Heap being a regular in this series too? :?:

Yes, I remember this, and I remember Julian in it. I've had my eye on him since Heat of the Sun, but only as a very talented young actor with a great voice.

And Jools, thanks for sorting me out!

According to IMDB, Julian is just in the second episode, which explains why I didn't remember his role in it - I think I only ever saw the first episode!

Pity they don't seem to be showing the whole series.

My sky box is showing a PD James mystery, but it is Inspector Dalgleish, not Cordelia Gray on Monday 18th :(

Well I'm confused now :? At the end of the credits it definately said 2nd part on Monday but I've just looked on the ITV3 site and it says Wycliffe at 5 to 10. In fact I can't find it anywhere in the listings right up to next Saturday.

It's "A Last Embrace" that he's in, not "The Last Sacrifice".

Faeriequeen was a bit of a star and managed to get hold of a copy of A Last Embrace 8)

I've finally edited it for the bits that we all want to see, and I've added them to esnips.

These are the links:

I have been having trouble with esnips today, so I have also uploaded them in wmv format for you to try if the first ones don't work...

Let me know which of these links (if any!!) works best for you.

(It really is worth persevering  )

Update: I have checked and all the links do appear to work, but you will have to allow AGES for loading. My suggestion is to get it started, go and make a cup of tea and get a chocolate biscuit/minimarsbar or two, and it will be ready when you get back....
