My fanletter reply!

Postby faeriequeen » Wed Oct 04, 2006 3:55 pm

I wasn't sure where to put this so sorry if it's in the wrong section!
Anyway, as Julian told me he'd sent it at the signing it wasn't a very big surprise but I'm still super happy about it:

He also included a signed photo for Vashti so I'm going to send it to her anyway even though her birthday was in August!

:D :D :D

Hi there - no problem with where it is, it's an announcement after all! Out of interest when did you write to Julian and was it via PFD?
Thanks

I sent it on 20th July to his PFD address...but if you look at the "New contact address?" thread you'll see that we should really be sending things to ICM now. :)

I think most fans posted stuff to PFD but they are only his voice over agents. His main agent is at ICM. It's probable they don't handle voice overs so the job has been 'farmed out' to PFD.

wow, faeriequeen, you're so lucky to get a reply from him!
I'm thinking of writing to him, but i was wondering; if i wanted to ask him for a signed picture and autograph etc, would i send the picture i wanted signed to him, or will he just send me a picture? Oh! and one more thing; what do i put on the front of the envelope? do i put 'Julian Rhind-Tutt'? i dont know @lol@
I hope he replies *crosses fingers*

This is what you need to put on the front of the envelope:
Julian Rhind-Tutt
c/o ICM
Oxford House
76 Oxford Street
London
W1D 1BS

And he sends you the photo, just remember to include a stamped self-addressed envelope so he can reply to you! :)

Have you been receiving any hot post from The Man lately? Would be interesting to know! I haven't written to him myself, though.

Well we're not in regular written contact or anything! Lol.
But he's usually pretty good at getting back to you if you write to him...I think it just depends on how busy he is at the time. You should write to him...he always writes a personal note on the back of the pic! :D

Lol! I didn't expect you to be his pen pals or anything! Was just wondering if there was somebody waiting for a reply to a letter. How long that might take or so... But yeah, I might even write to him! Some day... Thanks! Personal note -how sweet! He's a kind, kind man.

i wrote in the middle of july, and still nada :( and double :( :( cos i sent chocolate too :? maybe green and blacks chocolate isn't his thing? i was going through a phase of sending marvellous people choc as a way of saying thankyou for being so blummin good at their jobs and bringing joy into my life. i'm never told enough that i'm good at my job, and its good to be appreciated. bit sad not to have heard anything though, but am not taking it personally, he's a very busy man with lots of fangirls squeeing at him left right and centre i would presume.
come with me now on a journey through time and space
