Discuss Julian's many and varied radio and audio works including Blackout, Sicken and so die, In the red, Basil, Is it me or is everything sh*t? and In search of Elvis.
Don't forget to listen to Julian reading poems and prose about, and by, Baroque composers. Wonder if he wore a swirly coat whilst making the recording?! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01r0ywx
" A few very charming ladies down at my Dad's whist drive have been very kind (average age 75-93). My brother is the headmaster of a special school and I know some of his dinner ladies have been very kind to me as well. "
One of the good news. At last the poetry, and he is so good in it. I suppose that it is on the radio one week. Very nice you tutt-sweet to have take the place here. Best wishes
I'm sure that it will appear in the audio files of this website sooner or later Picton, so you could maybe try to listen on there if you are unable to get Radio 3 in Finland. I'm sure listening to Julian's rich & beautiful voice reading poetry will cheer us all up in these dark winter days.
Thanks for your kind wishes too!
