I have just spotted that Julian is narrating this programme this evening, friday 27th April.

An interesting if somewhat sad programme. Never knew that J Le M was a cuckolded husband- twice! Poor man.
Thought Julian dealt with it in his usual sensitive manner.

It WAS an interesting programme. There had already been a fascinating dramatisation of the life of Hattie Jacques (played rather well by Ruth Jones), whose life also surprised me. In that, an actor called Robert Bathurst played the role of John Le Mesurier. The lovely Aidan Turner played her fancy man.

And as always, I enjoy hearing Julian's narration.
