Re: Darker Shores - Alternative Christmas Show
Oh it's still a lovely picture, even with heavy flash! I want to go again and let my picture signed by him. Maybe in the beginning of January...hmm I wish I lived a bit closer to London.
I found another review:

Well, I enjoyed it a lot! Especially liked Julian's red velvet coat.
Didn't get the chance to speak to him as he rushed off into a waiting car after talking briefly to some friends of his...but I'm sure I'll get another chance on the 12th.

I see that the Hampstead Theatre is now listing Jan 13th as the last date for the play.

Oooh, that's a nice picture! Thanks Kath!
Re: Darker Shores - Alternative Christmas Show
After a slight delay in trying to find the carpark (hiding behind Swiss Cottage) and then finding the theatre, we got there in plenty of time and.......... there was no queuing for the loo, even in the interval.
We both loved this theatre, we were four rows from the front and it always adds something to be able to see the actors so close-up. I did jump a few times at the loud bangs but overall I don't scare easily. Really impressed at the typewriter and the bed scene in the second half (won't go into details in case anyone is still waiting to see this).

Re: Darker Shores - Alternative Christmas Show
that's where I'm sitting!!! And I'm prone to shrieking at scary bits..... You can all disown me later! So useful to know where the car park is.... Or should I come on the tube?? decisions, decisions...
By the way, will there still be the Q&A at the end? If so, I faithfully promise NOT to ask a question (I don't want a repeat of the BFI debacle) and would it be a good idea to have a few questions ready just in case? Perhaps those of you who have seen it already have some ideas. Just a thought.

That's a shame, I was looking forward to the matinee too. Just have to make the most of seeing it/JRT the night before now!
