The Crooked House

Postby chatterbox » Fri Sep 19, 2008 8:09 am

I hear that Julian has a small role in a BBC4 production of The Crooked House, written by Mark Gatiss. I don't know when it will be broadcast, but at least it means there is something else to look forward to. :D

Hi Rita, Good to see you back on here. :)

I too am eagerly anticipating our seasonal JRT gift from the BBC. It's been far too long since Julian graced our screens. Shame on you BBC!

Don't forget we also have 'Snobs' on Radio 4 to look forward to in a few weeks as well. More of that delicious voice. :swoon:

Great my Xmas Julian gift from the BBC.

Well it does make the license fee more bareable seeing as I only watch DVD's and things on other channels. I very rarely watch BBC

Mind you I haven't got BBC4 so will have to take over the parents TV. Maybe if I offer to cook christmas dinner I'll get the remote control off my dad

Yeah I'm not really liking the lack of lion's mane either...but the period costume is awesome. Frilly shirts FTW! :)

Enjoyed the episode, Julian was looking very grown up I thought.

Good story, well told.

Thought Julian looked quite distinguished in this, loved the ponytail and the frilly shirt, reminded me of his E+MC2 role. Liked his little speech about the childhood memories - must watch those close-ups again when I get the time!

This will be released on Oct 19th. I have watched esnips and this seems to be suitable to watch in the darkening, rainy November nights. :-|
