Filming in Puerto Rico
We hear that Julian is filming in Puerto Rico at the moment, playing the part of an angel... Not quite the ginger jesus, but getting there

Lucky Julian! Hope he's enjoying the hot sun in PR, more than I'm enjoying the snow in Sevenoaks?!

Ooh, Santiago Cabrera too. Nice! Reckon he might be the local architect?

Here's a bit of info about the film shoot from a Spanish language source - it's autotranslated so sounds a bit strange in places, but I think you can get the gist of it!

....just hope he doesn't/didn't get paint in the Lion's Mane- it would be a bugger to remove!

A friend of mine who does Spanish has provided me with a slightly better translation.
Production of the Belgian film 'Meant To Be' moved to Old San Juan, where filming took place yesterday in the old Puerto Rice casino.
Filming began at 6.00am, in the inner courtyard of the old building, where the English actors Kelly Reilly and Julian Rhind-Tutt were in charge of all scenes filmed throughout the day.
Rhind-Tutt plays an angel called Will, who falls in love with Amanda, the girl he must look after, played by Reilly. Due to his feelings, the angel decides to renounce his privileges and become a mortal so he can win her.
In one of the scenes filmed yesterday, Will is looking at how his human body works. To test it he kicks a can, which falls on a workman, who angrily responds by punching him in the face.
Then, to attract the attention of Amanda, who is in the building doing business, Will causes some scaffolding to fall, to make himself the young woman’s hero.
The scenes required a group of local extras.
As the production will remain in Old San Juan this week, there are large amounts of equipment in different parts of the city. However, the film has not attracted much attention from passers-by, since the actors are not very well-known in this area.
Filming will continue today in the Tapia theatre.
