Postby ducatilady » Fri Dec 19, 2008 5:34 pm

Don't know if this is posted anywhere else, but I have just heard on the radio that Julian is to be on Radio 2 tomorrow, Saturday 20th, at 10am, on the show presented by Lisa tarbuck and Martin Freeman.

Awesome...though I'll probably still be in bed so I'll have to catch it later on the Listen Again!

Will be all ears ! [some may say I already am ]

Pity Jimmy Carr is the other guest...it would've been nice to have had more of JRT on his own.

Dear Julian was as cool as ever, bless him. Just wish Liza & Martin had given him more chance to speak. What is it with 'interviewers' these days that they only want to hear their own voices?!

Love the fact he always plays down his own role in things...like on a film set he was asked if he was related to Rob R-T, who made some important mechanical modification on motorbikes...he said Rob, in his day, was far more famous than he [Julian] was/is. He's just so self effacing. :swoon:

He was obviously on to talk about Crooked House, but he did mention that he's playing an angel [how fitting!] in his next film...filmed in Puerto Rico! So that will be something to look forward too won't it? [sighs in contentment] :)
