OMG, don't know if it's just because I haven't seen him in anything new for ages but the whole thing made me squee like mad! The floaty cloak! The boats! The evil smouldering! The magic-y powers! So lame that he had to get killed off though. :P

ETA: the BBC website has been updated with more goodies!

The behind the scenes video is absolutely hilarious!

" I want my face to be the last face you ever see"! :swoon: What I wouldn't give eh! ....even with half of it burned to a crisp.

Thought Julian was superb. He does do creepy/evil so well doesn't he?! Bit of a quick exit sadly but that wasn't his fault. Loved the Stathamesque cloak swirling but OMG Julian in knee boots!!! :swoon: :GI:

Personally I thought he looked completely gorgeous! And that the scar made him look oddly sexy...mmmm.

Obviously in a little bit of a grumpety mood on set though - naughty Julian!

Well done for finding it though! :D :D :lv:

Well that was all a bit of good fun wasn't it... Lots of cloak swirling and eyeliner, with swirly magic hands. :D If we were going to have him killed off though, couldn't we have had a nicely drawn out death scene?

I've done screencaps all of Julian's bits...but photobucket is being a bloody bastard and not letting me use the bulk uploader at the moment...so I'm going to try again tomorrow. *sigh*

Right, finally got them all up HERE. There's a few at the beginning that should be at the end; photobucket was still being very annoying...sorry!

They are lovely pictures FQ!

I've got Merlin edited down to Julian's scenes for those who can't get i-player, but technology seems to be against us this weekend as esnips won't play the uploaded files :x

I'll have another go tomorrow, and I'll post the links as soon as I've succeeded

Merlin epizode

Postby lucie » Mon Oct 27, 2008 5:30 pm

The whole performance of J. was so incredible and striking that later on I've had a dream:
I was Standing beside somebody who was looking like J.and he was saying: "So far we were seeing each other for 5 or 10 mins, but can we manage for more than that?"
And after that suddenly I see a hot drink in which the insects are still alive and among them a huge one which jump out of the glass and started to fly around buzzing.
It was really a nightmare.
But a happy one ( as see J. in it )

Well it was the highlight of the devon holiday ( though we did see a landslide that took out an old car and a roof!!!)

The whole family loved it , though Jake did spend the rest of the holiday pretending to do magic. My poor sister spent most of her time pretending to be a toad.

What can I say he does evil so well the boots :swoon: the hand waving and the swirling coat had to keep remembering I was watching it with the family.

We need more EVIL Julian on TV minus the evil make up
laser screwdriver who needs sonic
stay out of camberwickgreen

Creepy...or should that be crepey?! :? Poor Julian, I bet he spent hours in 'make up' to look that bad!

Oh my god, that is an incredible close up, I suppose it would all show up in HD. I accidently saw him in Black books last night & he looks so gorgeous in that...what a contrast!
