had a reality check on tues morning that put my problems in perspective. Have I ever mentioned Dave on here, my 'friend' who lives in Bewdley. We met at a muse concert 2 months after I got married and have we always stayed in touch. He's been on about moving down here for ages. Saddly on mon night his dad died, his mum died years ago. He does have a brother but he's married to sonmeone just like my X.

Anyway I'm on lots of late night phone calls and heading up to see him as of tonight for a few days.

Of course if he does move down I have to start the fostering thing from the start again

Looking forward to seeing you again in Jan Spence we really must go for some more of the BEST pizza ever!!!

Jake is officially spending to much time with me. Not only is he now an Everton supporter ( he will know a life time of misery and defeat) but he's started theatre classes and has announced he wants to go on the stage and be like Julian!

Then at school the other day the teacher told his mum they had been talking about different hair colours and she used him as an example of being ginger ( let the bullying start!!) he turned round and told her he's Strawberry Blonde ( thankfully he didn't say like JRT)

Hello all hope you're are all well. Life has been manic lately Wedding fairs, no staff at theatre and it's almost panto season. On top of that my sister's assistant manager at her sewing shop has quit so they've asked me if I can help. Add on to that a few weddings and hats and I'm back on 4 hours sleep a night.

Finally finished the patio and wall and have even cut my way to the fence at the bottom of the garden which I haven't seen in 2 years. Did spend 4 hours happily chopping wood the other day.

Anyway it's a beautifully sunny day in Hereford even if I can't see the computer screen. Hope the weather is just as lovely where you are as it's put me in an amazingly happy mood. :D

Hope you're feeling better baggie and the head cold has gone.

I have one question what is the point of wind chimes

My neighbour ( we talking over the road a few houses down) put theirs up at the weekend and it hasn't shut up since. I can hear it through out my house over the TV or any music I play. I could even hear it over the grand prix on sun morning.

I'm suffering from sleep deprevation

I think you need to do a little nocturnal pruneing, and cut the string on the flippin thing! The gentle tinkling they make is supposed to be relaxing.....yeah right I don't think so!

It's more like Big Ben than gentle tinkling.

A couple of other neighbours have had enough so I'm leaving upsetting people to them. It would be ok but it sets 2 of the neighbourhood dogs off too!!!.

Thank God I'm away next week please tell me the cows in Devon don't have cow bells

I don't think Devon cows have bells, so you should be alright.

I'm a pretty happy Baggiebird at the moment. I've been having a bit of a scrap with the Inland Revenue. I found out a couple of weeks ago that I was on the wrong tax code. Basically I have been paying tax on benefits I do not and have bever received, in short the tax man seems to think I have a company car....DUH! Anywho, they have finally calculated my rebate.......so in the next couple of weeks I shall be getting a cheque of them for 3 years.....yes i did say 3 years worth of overpaid tax, which comes to the princely sum of £4,500.......Oh my fucksey!!!!! :o Of course you have to add to that the rebate I had in this months paypacket, and basically by the time they have sorted it all out I will have had back just over £5,000 of the Inland Rev....nice

Hi Baggie, good to see you popping in. Great news about the refund, but frightening how 'they' can get things so wrong for such a long time!

Cheers Rosie. I know, it is quite worrying that it's been going on for 3 years. The more disturbing thing is that, was it not for a throw away statement by one of the girls in our payroll department i'd still be in the dark about it.

oh well that is good news and fortunate you found out about it.

I have had a wonderful week which has involved meeting steve after round and round the garden, seeing the boosh live (which was a bit of a let down but still good i guess), and 8 out of 10 cats with James Cordon! and now my friend from Oxford is on her way down to visit so I'm feeling quite excited but all my money has gone, oh well

well done Baggie . Just filed my tax return and I'm owed money too, due to the fact the theatre have me on the wrong tax code. Thankfully as I'm also self-employed I found out quite quickly due to having to file said tax return.

Right that's me off for a week. Cats are at the cattery and the car is packed Devon and jake await. Off to spend a week swimming and teaching a 4 year old to ride a bike. Should be fun I haven't riden a bike in 3 years.

Have a great week everyone and enjoy Merlin tonight :D

Hello all, haven't been on for ages and ages to type but have just popped in to view what is going on. I had to stop visiting daily as it was affecting my work and had to go cold turkey.

I hope all of you are happy and well and want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year xxx

Lynn (Minki) xx

Just got back from 5 days in Disneyland Paris with my nephew, and I still have money in my bank account. It was cold but had a great time especially as Jake is now big enough for some of the bigger rides. He loves rollercoasters thankfully !!!

Spent most of our time on Thunder Mountain, he even dragged my 68 year old mum on it in the dark, as well as Star tours, Buzz and the Haunted House. Got to admit I was glad he still loves the Mad Hatters Tea cups, Peter Pan and The Pirates of the Caribbean.

We had a great time in the pool at the Davy Crockett Ranch with Jake going down his first waterslide ( I was at the bottom to catch him) all you could hear was him shouting weeeeeeee

The best bit though was that after 31 trips to 3 different Disneys I finally met and got a photo with Mickey Mouse!!!!!!

Well I'm off to mum's tomorrow ( 10min walk from mine) for a couple of days. I'm taking the cats and joining the rest of the family for lots of pressies, drinks and some food that I will be cooking.

Apparently I'm cooking a turkey, a goose and a nut loaf. Not bad for a vegan. I hope you all have a great christmas and get everything you want ( within reason) for me thats a couple of Everton wins (or at least draws).

Will return to the land of internet and panto on 27th. Looking forward to seeing you all in the new year. Special thanks to Kim for arranging it on the same day that Leeds play Hereford opposite the big GLASS theatre I work at and giving me the best excuse to not be here.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS :ta:

Hello all I know there are quite a few mums on here so I need some party advice. As favourite aunt I have been chosen to organise Mini Macs birthday at the end of the month.

Apparently I'm entertaining 30 4-5 year olds. Help!!!!!!

Any ideas on food and games etc. would be gratefully received so I remain favourite Aunty. Thank you

I'm assuming Spoon of Destiny and Guyball are not a good idea
