I caught half of it, quite by accident. Have to say I agree with much of the the Guardian's review below, but Julian told the sorry tales of the two building jobs with his usual charm. :)

i did see it and started squeling its julian! julians voice!

I saw this too. Just makes one glad that we have building regulations in this country...that are checked by the local authorities! Still a nightmare to have to go through all the hassle just to extend your house though! :shock:

Julian brought a touch of class to this documentary, as he does everything he is involved in. Guess he may also have had a personal interest in the subject, what with his flat renovations & his dad being a master builder too! :wink:
