I really like Catherine Tate and I think Donna is fab...I can't wait for her and Martha to meet next time! Rose is my least favourite companion so far...she got so annoying in series 2...not that I didn't cry at the end of Doomsday though.

What Faeriequeen said. With bells on.

I love Catherine Tate as Donna and I think she may yet be the best thing to happen to New Who (after a certain lanky Scot). Martha is awesome and I can't wait to see her back with some alien arse-kicking, combats-wearing action, but Donna has been the perfect antidote to all the Saint Rose emo, and long may she continue to be so fantastic.

To be honest I can do without assistants in general, as the Doctor is such a huge all singing, all dancing role. I find that most end up seeming a bit wooden.
I must say in Billie's defence that she provided the best subplot in terms of family. I truly enjoyed her mum and Mickey. I thought Martha's lot were pretty poor (sorry Reggie) and much as Bernard Cribbins was the staff of life when I was growing up, I found all that allotment stuff pretty cringy. I would like an allotment though.

I was concerned about her coming back as a main role partly because I loved martha (not that I didn't love rose but not as much) and after the runaway bride I thought she would be more irritating but she's not. She's incrediable and I love her so much. I think she is amazing, she is funny and witty and down to earth and doesn't think the doctor is "god's gift" he makes mistakes too. And her acting when she first heard the song was so touching and moving. Plus the week before se reminded the doctor or the hardness of his life.

sorry I could talk about doctor who and my new found love for Donna till the sun goes down but I do love her and right now I think she's the best - no UST thank goodness!

and Martha next week hurrah (I wonder if we'll see her b/f)

I loved Mickey! Maybe it's that I want the doctor to have a male companion.

Changing the subject since watching Enchanted the other night with Jake and rediscovered Patrick Dempsey :D

Have now found myself watching Grey's anatomy and With Honours ( brendan Fraser film) and trying to find the other series of Gray's ( not easy in Hereford)

Please tell me I'm not alone and why I never fancied my old room mate Rob who was the spitting image of him

So do I - go figure!

His name's Michael C. Hall - he was a gay undertaker in Six Feet Under and is currently in Dexter playing a blood spatter analyst by day, serial killer by night.

I was really worried when I read about that but it seems rehersals for the play he's in are still going ahead so it can't be too bad, thankfully. I'm really looking forward to the play so I'm glad they don't have to replace him!

yeah I love Kris but as he's still going to do his play it can't be too bad but I really hope he's alright

in other news did you hear about that Austrian guy who kept his daughter in the basement and had several children with her - how messed up is that

I do love paul bettany in wimbledon and in a knights tale but in a knights tale it's heath that really does it for me

Me too! When A Knight's Tale came out I was Heath's biggest fangirl, heh. Paul's pretty in it, too, though.
