I got the DVD for my birthday in February. My eldest daughter (who some of you met in London) bought it for me. Must say, not my usual viewing but I did enjoy it.

Hmm - why do my daughters still refer to Stardust as "That rubbish film you forced us to go and see. It was so boring!" Thank goodness JRT was heavily disguised.....I think my little secret is safe.

Even now, when I suggest going to the cinema, they're very suspicious - "It's not going to be like that Stardust crap, is it?"

Sorry, I just had to share that.....

My sons probably won't thank me for this, but even though they are 15, nearly 16 they loved Stardust!! We watched it again last weekend :D .

This is probably an outrageous thing to say, but I enjoyed the film more than the book, mainly because of Robert de Niro I think. Oh, there may have been another reason... what could that be I wonder?

So...for some crazy reason or another, I was holding back from buying this DVD ( :duh: - why?!!!!) cos I wanted to rent it first (again what was I thinking?!)
Anyway, I finally bought a copy of it when I went food shopping -went down the stationary. CD/DVD aisle and sure enough - there it was staring at me so, I decided, " I must get this!" so at last I came to my senses and did indeed buy it! - Hooray! :D

Just watched it again and I think Clare Danes' character is growing on me, the brothers are hysterical together, but, that bloody Ricky T**T features still gets on my frickin' nerves so, I was very pleased when the witch silenced him and when, whats-his-name - last remaining son - (I really should make mental notes of their names - dammit!) killed him - I cheered!

...and of course, our lovely boy - so adorable! (he desrves line all to himself - see!)

Well I managed to take my 12 and 6 year olds to see it when it was on, the 9 year old refused to come  but the other two seemed to enjoy it (and they're boys!). Got the DVD a few weeks ago whilst doing the food shopping in Tesco's  It goes very well on the shelf with the brand new Hippies and Oliver DVDs :D

I love Stardust, Claire Danes and Michelle Pfeiffer are great on the film as also Robert DeNiro!

Julian is very funny in the movie although the make up covers he's whole face, we can notice he's fine sense of humor! loved the pictures you posted Fairyqueen!
