Just came across this old article/interview with Julian about Oliver Twist. Some of it has been written in other articles before but there are a few new bits if I'm not mistaken:

Nice find! :)
Mac: How are the people of Insania without their Mighty Queen?
Sue White: Oh well you know, they're alright. I left them post-it notes with instructions.

Gosh and very possibly crikey (not taking your name in vain Emm but a highly suitable exclaimation) I could also say hubba hubba or oh my godfathers, pass the smelling salts someone....

That was my exact thought, Rita when I saw the "swishing of the coat"
:D

...and my-oh-my; doesn't Mr Edward Monks look devilishly handsome
Great find FQ - thanks!

somebody should have warned me about that photo!

just picked up my copy of Oliver Twist (needed to cheer myself up after the last 10 days from hell) apparently I'm too good with my nephew so won't be seeing him again. His father has decreed it!.

Too much family stuff for on here no doubt it will blow over again. Problem is it happens too regularly and it's taking it's toll on mini.

OT was great cheered me up, plus I also bought Muse's HAARP dvd too. Apparently I'm not allowed to buy Stardust, think I must be getting it as an Easter pressy ( well I'm allergic to choc) usually I get easter Vodka but an easter JRT has to be better! :D

You are allergic to chocolate? NO! *in a Sue White SHRIEK* I don't know if that is a good thing? - so you don't "pig-out" on choccie or a bad thing - 'cos when you get a craving for it? - actually what do you have instead when you do - marshmallows?
Actually, a Julian-related pressie would be so much better than an easter egg anyway! Actually, a chocolate covered Julian would be even better?!!!! :D Yum, yum!
Heres' to hoping things improve for you Emm *sending a virtual hug*

I have just had a Google alert to let us know that Oliver Twist is being repeated on BBC4, starting on 24th May at 9pm.

A good opportunity for a little indulgence for those of us that haven't bought the dvd yet.

hhmmm although i did see this the first time, i had forgotten how tantalising the first episode was, with regards to himself. also, i didn't have my computer then, so couldn't join in with the talk back on the forum. spent the time before the episode, reading everyone's comments, and looking at all the photos and clips to remind me(actually found i remembered quite a lot considering i don't have the dvd). was in a bit of a state before it began! i never thought i needed a computer, how daft could i be! all the lovelyness that is jrt, had been there all the time, i think the word i'm looking for is "doh", it could even be something stronger! s
ps does all this mean i am a true "fan", or something slightly more scarey!

Is it on once a week, or what? [I really should find an online TV guide]

I'm currently downloading the first episode on iPlayer - have been meaning to buy the dvd for a while but haven't got round to it.
