i would ask him what motivated him to act, and why he did an english degree first. Its what im currently doing so hes a bit inspiring in that sense for me, so would love to know.
I could ask him why hes so freaking hot as well but that might be a tad hysterical....x

Ohhh love the article! Thankyou!

I would most definatley ask if he would ever act in something slightly homoerotic.

If he has, someone, please tell me.

I'd ask him if he was going to read any more Robert Muchamore CHERUB books? as he did such a fab job of "The Recruit" and "Class A" - this series is actually my favourite of his audiobooks (AB) (although I do believe he hasn't done many AB "series" so, just for argument sake i'll just say they are my favourite of his! :D )

Purleeeeeaaase Julian do some more - in fact all 12 would be great?!!!!

I've just emailed the author asking about this...seeing as he encourages people to ask him questions on his website!

I think he'll regret that invitation now the Queens of Insania are involved....

Wow, that was quick:

Hi Gabriella,

This is an interesting question.

The market for audiobooks of older children's fiction is tiny. For instance, we've only sold about 3,000 copies of The Recruit on Audio, compared to almost 200,000 copies of the book itself. These sort of numbers make it difficult to justify the cost of producing an audio edition.

I agree with you that Julian makes a really good reader and it's quite likely that there will be at least one more audiobook. However, the long term prospects depend entirely upon whether my publisher can make a profit from the audio editions.

Good luck with your fan site!

RM

So it looks like we should remain hopeful...

Ah wow FQ - good for you and getting a response so fast!! :D
I must admit that I have been tempted once or twice to write to him too (RM I mean) but obvs, never got around to it! and I promise I'm not just saying that! - great minds think alike!

So we can keep hoping then.....I'm keeping everything crossed!!!

How about... Will you be my valentine?? :lvdr:
Mac: How are the people of Insania without their Mighty Queen?
Sue White: Oh well you know, they're alright. I left them post-it notes with instructions.

*Thanks to maisie for the icon!*

I thought once of sending him a note with just "will you marry me?" on it!
Well I don't really mean it....but in my desperate moments...
